    The recently released  Phantom 4  Advanced shares similar specifications with last year’s Phantom 4 Pro unit,  but with slightly altered specifications. With minor yet significant upgrades, that Phantom 4 Advanced is able to embody the ideal drone for a reasonable price.

    Preserved Professional Imaging Capabilities

    For a more affordable yet professional drone, the Phantom 4 Advanced offers all the necessities at a price that that’s better suited for consumers. Similar to the Pro, the Phantom 4 is equipped with a 11″ 20 MP sensor that has close to 12 stops of dynamic range. To preserve professional imaging capabilities, it’s also equipped with a mechanical shutter for capturing fast moving objects or images during fast drone speed. Consequently,  recording can be done at 4K at 60fps, at 100 Mbps, with H.265 compression.

    Professional Control

    The DJI Phantom 4 does not fall short when it comes to delivering professional control. With an optional controller that has an integrated high luminance display, users are able to enjoy a live HD view from the main camera, essential telemetry data, built-in GPS, a compass, and microSD card and  HDMI port support.  

    The drone with the the standard remote is priced at PHP, 73,200, while the Advanced+ model, which features a remote controller with an ultra-bright display, is retailed at PHP 91,500.

    Smart Features for Intelligent Flight

    The Phantom 4 Advanced merges professional aerial imaging with versatility via its intelligent flight modes. The Draw feature will allow users to draw a route on the display monitor while the ActiveTrack feature enables the drone to recognize and track subjects, while keeping them inside the frame.  Join these is the Gesture Mode that allows the taking of selfies through gestures. These, among others, are just among the Intelligent features of the very capable Phantom 4 Advanced.

    Flight Autonomy System

    The Phantom  4 Advanced has 5-direction obstacle sensing, and is only shy of the Phantom 4 Pro in terms of obstacle avoidance. The Pro has three sets of visual systems that are able to intelligently avoid obstacles in the front, back, and below the drone, while its infrared sensing assures safety on both sides. On the other hand, the Phantom 4 Advanced is equipped with sensors in front and below.

    Live View Working Frequency

    The Phantom 4 Pro is able to give you the option of choosing between 2.4 GHz and 5.8 GHz, thus giving you the advantage of gaining better signal stability, especially in areas with high interference.

    The Phantom Pro, with a standard remote controller is priced at PHP 91,500; the Phantom 4 Pro+, with a high luminance display remote controller at PHP 109,800,  the Phantom 4 Advanced, with a standard remote controller, at PHP 73,200; and the Phantom 4 Advanced+ at PHP 91,500

    Weight

    The Phantom 4 Advance only weighs 20g, making it significantly lighter than the Pro. All thanks to the titanium and magnesium alloy material of the  Phantom 4 Advanced, it’s able to sport a lightweight design alongside advanced durability.
