    In celebration of it 110 years in the short-term financing industry, Tambunting Pawnshop has just launched its own online service, Tambunting Online, to extend a helping hand to millions of internet-connected Filipinos in dire need of funds.

    Tambunting Online was created in partnership with MFT Group of Companies and GrabExpress. The online division of the aforementioned pawnshop offers a quick, convenient, and secure way to get a loan.

    The loan process is similar to how it is done person, but this time there’s no need to leave work or home. Just log on to www.tambunting.com.ph, provide necessary user information and items to be used as collateral, confirm, and wait for the result of item evaluation. Finally, an offer will be sent through email. All these are done in utmost privacy.

    Upon agreement to the offer, free pick-up will be arranged through GrabExpress. For added security, the customer will receive a GPS link to enable real-time tracking of the valuables. The items are appraised upon arrival at Tambunting’s headquarters. After the appraisal, Tambunting will give a final offer to be sent through email. Upon acceptance of the offer, the user will receive the cash within 24 hours, either as a bank deposit or as a remittance via Palawan Express.

    An app version of the service is also said to be not far down the pipeline.
