E-Commerce Expo Philippines (ECOMEX) 2026 has officially launched its national platform for entrepreneurs, online sellers, and digital innovators ahead of its November event in Taguig.

Scheduled for November 20–21, 2026, at the SMX Convention Center Aura, ECOMEX aims to connect Filipino entrepreneurs with the people, technologies, and practical knowledge they need to build stronger digital businesses.

The event is powered by PHILSME and organized by MediaTrix Solutions Inc. Organizers describe it as an expo, conference, and networking event covering entrepreneurship, branding, e-commerce, and digital transformation.

Digital commerce is more than another sales channel

During the July 9 ECOMEX Media and Ecosystem Launch, business leaders encouraged Filipino entrepreneurs to approach e-commerce as more than an additional place to sell products.

The discussions focused on building credible brands, reaching new customers, adapting to changing behavior, and developing sustainable businesses. More than 40 international, regional, and local media organizations participated in the virtual launch through Zoom and livestreams on the ECOMEX and PHILSME social media channels.

Every digital business starts somewhere

Entrepreneur, author, and financial educator Coach Chinkee Tan reminded aspiring business owners that successful brands often begin with a small audience.

Coach Chinkee Tan discusses entrepreneurship, branding, and digital transformation during the virtual ECOMEX Media and Ecosystem Launch.

“Everybody starts with one follower.” Tan said entrepreneurs should not be intimidated by technology or by the scale of established companies. Success in digital commerce, he explained, comes from consistently providing value, earning trust, and improving over time.

“People buy brands. They don’t only buy products.” For entrepreneurs with access to multiple digital selling platforms, the challenge is turning that reach into long-term customer relationships. Tan encouraged business owners to invest in education, credibility, and opportunities to learn from experienced practitioners.

A community for Philippine e-commerce

ECOMEX 2026 invites service providers and other business enablers to connect with growing e-commerce brands during the November expo.

Digital entrepreneur and content strategist Reymond “Boss RDR” Delos Santos described ECOMEX as a platform for recognizing the people building the country’s digital commerce industry.

“ECOMEX is not just an expo. For me, ECOMEX is a movement where we recognize and celebrate the people building Philippine e-commerce.” Delos Santos said digital entrepreneurship has allowed Filipinos to build businesses, create employment, and contribute to their communities.

Addressing the full customer journey

Trixie Esguerra-Abrenilla, founder and organizer of ECOMEX and CEO and managing director of the Philippine SME Business Expo, said the platform was created to address the increasingly complex requirements of running a digital business. “Philippine e-commerce success depends on execution across the entire customer journey. The challenge is no longer simply how to sell online, but how to acquire, convert, fulfill and retain customers. These are exactly the kinds of questions ECOMEX is built to address.”

The event will bring together experts, technology providers, mentors, service providers, and business communities supporting different stages of an entrepreneur’s journey, from launching an online store to developing a sustainable brand.

Eryl Royce Nagtalon, director of the Department of Trade and Industry E-Commerce Bureau, also delivered a recorded keynote message highlighting the importance of collaboration in creating a stronger digital economy and a more trusted online marketplace.

Building a long-term industry platform

Organizers intend ECOMEX to operate as more than an annual event. The platform is designed to connect entrepreneurs, creators, educators, technology providers, investors, government agencies, and business organizations throughout the Philippine e-commerce ecosystem. The November expo will also include brands, marketplaces, financial technology companies, logistics providers, content creators, and other organizations involved in digital commerce. Exhibitor, sponsorship, speaking, and partnership opportunities for ECOMEX 2026 are currently open.
