The Treasury Group caps off Robinsons Bank’s award-filled year when Finstra, the third-largest Financial Technology provider in the world, presented Robinsons Bank with the 2019 Project of the Year award for their Treasury IT Solutions Opics project.
The Treasury IT Solutions Opics project aims to fuel the growing Treasury business activities of the bank. It was also recognized for its fast and seamless progression from negotiations to implementation. The Opics project surpassed standards as it made project timelines three months faster than the market average.
Finstra also acknowledged Robinsons Bank’s collaborative communication, strong point of contact, and firm expectations as key players to the excellence that the bank exhibited.
The 2019 Project of the Year award is one of many recognitions given to Robinsons Bank in 2019. Last October 2019, the Philippine Rating Services Corporation (PhilRating) issued Robinsons Bank a high PRS credit rating of Aa minus with a Stable Outlook in light of its recent corporate bond issuance.
Early in 2019, Robinsons Bank was recognized as the Fastest Growing Commercial Bank in the Philippines by Global Business Outlook (GBO) and the Best Commercial Bank in the Philippines by the International Banker. Its Robinsons Bank DOS Mastercard was also recognized as the Most Innovative Credit Card Product by GBO; while the Simple Savings product was awarded as the Most Innovative Banking Product and Best Financial Inclusion Program by GBO and the Bank Marketing Awards, respectively. In addition to these awards, Robinsons Bank was recognized by Visa for having the highest number of contactless transactions in 2019.
