The Philippine Pro Gaming League (PPGL) is launching its first-ever PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds (PUBG) Mobile tournament with the PUBG Mobile Philippine National Championship (PPNC).

The tournament was made possible thanks to the partnership of Mineski Philippines and Globe Telecom, in cooperation with PUBG Mobile developer Tencent. The maiden run of the tournament will have a prize pool of PHP 430,000.

The top four teams of the tournament will also represent the country in the PUBG Mobile Club Open Fall Split 2020: SEA Wildcard, seeding straight into the regional finals. The regional leg is an opportunity for top teams across Southeast Asia to advance to the world stage.

Registrations began last August 3, and interested players can join through this link.

Qualifying rounds will be from August 11 to 14 with the Race to Top 16 following from August 19 to 20. The grand finals will be held on September 2 to 3.

For non-players and fans, the group stages will be broadcast LIVE on the PPGL Facebook page, and the grand finals on both PPGL (Tagalog) and PUBG Mobile Esports (English) Facebook pages. Spicing it up will be the appearances of popular OPM band Ben & Ben and PUBG Mobile streamers.
