Transforming gaming into entertainment, empowerment, and real-world change
GameZone, one of the country’s biggest Player Versus Player (PVP) entertainment platforms, has had an exceptional year. From bringing global artists and sports icons to Philippine audiences, to pioneering the nation’s largest TableGame championships, launching its own insurance protection plan, and supporting meaningful charity efforts, the platform has reshaped expectations of what a gaming company can be. In just twelve months, GameZone has shown that gaming can inspire, uplift, and build communities far beyond the digital arena.
A New Arena for Global Sports

One of the year’s most significant sporting moments was the hosting of the first International Series Philippines presented by BingoPlus as part of the Asian Tour and the pathway to LIV Golf, brought to the country by BingoPlus and the DigiPlus Interactive Corporation.
The tournament featured global golf icons such as Dustin Johnson, Charl Schwartzel, and Patrick Reed at the Sta. Elena Golf and Country Club, with a 2-Million USD Prize Pool. This marked the first time an International Series event was held on Philippine Soil.
The vision was clear: give Filipino fans the chance to witness the world’s greatest talents up close and inspire the next generation of players. The event did exactly that. As the dust settled in Laguna, hometown hero Miguel Tabuena emerged victorious with an astonishing 24-under-par performance. His win was a proud moment for Philippine golf, proving that local athletes can compete with, and triumph over, the world’s best.
When Music Meets Movement
Beyond its major sports milestone, GameZone and the DigiPlus group brought together music, dance, and youth culture through the International Series Philippines Music Festival at Aseana City Concert Grounds.

Themed “Swing for Filipino Sports Dreams,” the concert featured global EDM star Alan Walker, music icon Apl.de.Ap, and OPM favorites Bamboo, Parokya ni Edgar, and Urbandub. Filipino DJs and world champion dance crews A-Team and UPeepz completed the high-energy lineup.
But the night was more than entertainment. For every redeemed ticket, GameZone and the DigiPlus group donated PHP200, on top of a PHP5-million pledge, to support Filipino sports development and various charitable causes. Fun and purpose came together, proving that entertainment can move more than crowds; it can move communities forward.
Raising the Bar for Filipino Play

This year marked the third edition of the GameZone TableGame Champions Cup (GTCC), the platform’s premier tournament that elevates Filipino classic card games like Tongits and Pusoy to competitive, professional-level play, akin to the World Series of Poker.
Since its launch, the GTCC has become one of the country’s most respected national competitions, highlighting not only skill and strategy but also the ingenuity of Filipino players. This year’s showdowns were among the biggest yet, with GameZone offering a PHP10-million prize pool per tournament. Each champion walked away with an incredible PHP5-million.

Players both beginners and veterans competed in the GTCC Summer Showdown and GTCC September Arena, showcasing passion, precision, and the deep-rooted Filipino love for card games.
Stories That Redefine Victory
Amid the competition, extraordinary personal stories emerged.

One of the most inspiring was Tatay Benigno Casayuran, a 62-year-old retiree from Candelaria, Quezon, who joined the GTCC hoping to support his wife’s cancer treatments. With limited means, he borrowed money for the trip and admitted to wearing the same clothes for days just to compete.
He struggled early, finishing his first 50 games at -2500. But during a break, he found a small coin, his lucky charm, which he carried into the next rounds. By the end of Day 1, he clawed his way back to +300, avoiding elimination. Over the next few days, he battled his way into the finals and ultimately emerged as champion, winning PHP5-million.
His prize money transformed his family’s life, allowing him to buy a car for his wife’s chemotherapy sessions and open a dedicated savings account for her continued care.

Another finalist, Ryan Dacalos, had left his job as a delivery rider due to financial hardship. His tournament winnings enabled him to purchase a motorcycle, open a sari-sari store, and finally build proper kitchen and bathroom spaces for his family.
These stories show what GameZone has become: a platform where everyday Filipinos can find support, opportunity, and dignity, and moments when life changes with a single win.
A Platform With Purpose
GameZone’s year is not yet over, but its impact is already clear. From hosting global sporting events and championing Filipino artistry, to elevating classic Pinoy card games and empowering communities through charitable initiatives, GameZone is redefining what gaming can stand for.
In 2025, Gamezone has shown that gaming is not just about winning. It is about building culture, creating opportunity, and making a difference—one event, one player, and one story at a time.
