Calling creatives in advertising, digital, marketing, media, PR, events, and production! The Digital Marketing Association of the Philippines (DMAP) is back with the ultimate celebration of young talent: the Digital Young Creators (DYC) Bootcamp & Competition, happening on September 19 at the Ayala Museum.
“This year, we’re making it even bigger and better,” says DMAP DYC co-chair Cams Sta. Ana. “One bootcamp, two stages, two competitions. Which means there are more chances for our young creators to shine on the world stage.”
- The DYC x Young Lotus is open to creatives aged 30 and below. Winners get to represent the country at the Young Lotus Workshop 2026 in Adfest, Pattaya, Thailand.
- The DYC x Young Innova is for creatives 31 to 40 years old. Winners will represent DMAP at SXSW 2026 in Austin, Texas.
“This year’s theme is Sari-Sari,” says Raymund Sison, co-chair of DMAP DYC 2025. “It’s the ultimate showcase of young digital talents. It celebrates creation in all its forms – a melting pot of diverse ideas, innovations, culture, and all kinds of digital makers. In a bootcamp that features that country’s top creatives, innovators, and creators.”
The two competitions are open to, but not limited to, copywriters, designers, art directors, technologists, community managers, programmers, user experience (UX) pros, in-house creatives, content creators, digital producers, account managers, strategists, and data analysts.
Young digital creators full of creative spunk, working freelance, part-time, or full-time at creative agencies, digital firms, tech shops, content creation companies, production houses, public relations firms, or even brands, are encouraged to apply.
Winners will represent the Philippines at Adfest Young Lotus 2026 in Pattaya, Thailand, and SXSW 2026 in Austin, Texas. They will also receive exclusive training from the Philippines’ top creative and digital experts.
Growing young digital talent
The DYC is the ultimate playground for young digital-first superstars, loaded with mentoring sessions from the country’s digital pioneers, best creative minds, and marketing rock stars.
This year’s keynote speakers include Raxenne Maniquiz, one of the country’s top graphic designers and illustrators; Jann Pascua, art director of Vogue Philippines; Abi Marquez, content creator and Lumpia Queen; Raco Ruiz, content creator and visual artist; Antoinette Jadaone, box-office hit director and co-founder of Project 8 Projects; Carl Chavez, director and founder of Lunchbox; and Merlee Jayme, chairmom and founder of Jayme HQ and The Misfits Camp.
“SARI-SARI DYC 2025 is a celebration of Filipino creativity. Expect this year to be like a sari-sari store: filled to the brim with diverse ideas and innovations from the country’s top and emerging creatives. More than the competitions, we’re looking forward to being the launchpad for creatives to experience global exposure and recognition. This is an exciting opportunity for Filipinos to make their mark on the international stage,” says Dale Lopez, DMP DYC’s director for creative.
