MSI has come out of COMPUTEX 2026 with four Best Choice Awards, the most notable being the Gold Award for its GeForce RTX 5090 32G LIGHTNING Z graphics card. The wins span a flagship GPU, a limited-edition anniversary laptop, a high-wattage AI workstation PSU, and a smart peripheral combo, covering pretty much every tier of the enthusiast PC ecosystem.
“AI is fundamentally reshaping the digital landscape,” said Sam Chern, vice president of marketing at MSI. “Our core mission is to translate powerful computing power into an intuitive and efficient user experience through extreme engineering. These awards are a testament to our pursuit of stability and performance at the extreme limits.”
GeForce RTX 5090 32G LIGHTNING Z: Gold Award Winner
The RTX 5090 LIGHTNING Z marks the return of MSI’s LIGHTNING series after a long hiatus, and it came back swinging. The Gold Award-winning card is built for 8K rendering and complex 3D modeling, with hardware to match those ambitions.
It runs a 40-phase power architecture with dual 16-pin connectors, a liquid-cooled thermal system combining a full copper cold plate with a high-pressure pump and MSI’s exclusive Lightning Fan design, and an 8-inch onboard display panel for real-time performance monitoring and custom visuals.

Titan 18 HX Dragon Edition Draco Epic: Gaming and Immersive Tech Award
MSI’s flagship laptop took the award in the Gaming and Immersive Tech category. The Titan 18 HX Dragon Edition Draco Epic is a limited-edition machine built to mark MSI’s 40th anniversary, and the company is keeping full specs and feature details under wraps until the show floor opens. What’s confirmed is that it represents MSI’s highest design tier. More details will be revealed during the exhibition proper.
MPG Ai TS Series PSU: Built for the AI Workstation Era
The MPG Ai TS Series power supply was designed with the safety demands of modern high-end GPUs in mind, specifically for AI edge computing and data processing workloads. Its standout feature is GPU Safeguard+ technology, MSI’s proactive protection system that monitors per-pin current on 12V-2×6 connectors to prevent hardware damage and data loss.
It also uses industrial-grade SiC MOSFETs for quieter operation under load and ships with dual native 12V-2×6 connectors for future-proofing as GPU power demands continue to climb.

STRIKE ALLOY TMR and STRIKE NEXUS: The Smart Peripheral Setup
The STRIKE ALLOY TMR keyboard and STRIKE NEXUS hub were recognized together as a unified peripheral ecosystem rather than standalone products. The keyboard uses next-generation TMR sensing technology with up to 8,000Hz polling rate and a dual hot-swap design that supports both magnetic and mechanical switches.
The STRIKE NEXUS ties the setup together with a magnetic attachment design, a 4.3-inch touchscreen, and an external M.2 SSD expansion slot. A single USB-C connection handles system monitoring, shortcut controls, and encrypted SSD protection simultaneously.
