HONOR’s latest foldable combines an ultra-thin profile, a 6,660mAh silicon-carbon battery, flagship performance, AI-powered imaging, and cross-device productivity features.
HONOR has officially launched the HONOR Magic V6 in the Philippines, introducing its latest foldable smartphone with a thinner design, a larger battery, and a new generation of performance and AI features. The device is now available for pre-order at ₱119,999 from August 25 to September 4, 2026.
“The future of foldable technology is about pushing boundaries without asking users to compromise,” said Stephen Cheng, vice president of HONOR Philippines. “With the HONOR Magic V6, we set out to deliver a foldable experience that brings together a refined design and dependable durability.”
Thinner foldable design with reinforced durability
The HONOR Magic V6 measures 8.75mm when folded and 4.0mm when unfolded in the white version, weighing around 219g. HONOR positions the device as offering an in-hand feel closer to a conventional slab smartphone while retaining the flexibility and larger display of a foldable.
At the center of its hinge design is the HONOR Super Steel Hinge, which HONOR says has a tensile strength of 2,800MPa. The structure is reinforced by an AI-assisted bionic cushioning system developed through thousands of simulations, designed to absorb impact and distribute force during drops and everyday use.
The inner display uses UTG flexible glass for what HONOR describes as a near-zero crease visual experience, while the outer display is protected by the HONOR Anti-scratch NanoCrystal Shield. The silicon nitride coating uses up to 5,600 layers and is intended to improve wear resistance while reducing reflectivity.
The Magic V6 also carries IP68 and IP69 ratings under IEC 60529 standards, giving it resistance to dust, water, and high-pressure sprays. These protections are notable in the foldable category, where sealing moving components remains a technical challenge.
Dual displays built for everyday use
The Magic V6 features a 6.52-inch outer display and a 7.95-inch inner foldable display, with both panels supporting adaptive refresh rates from 1Hz to 120Hz. The outer display reaches up to 6,000nits of peak brightness, while the inner display reaches up to 5,000nits.
HONOR also claims ultra-low reflectivity of 1.5%, helping improve visibility in bright conditions. Both displays include eye-comfort technologies such as 4320Hz PWM dimming, aimed at reducing flicker during extended viewing.
A 6,660mAh battery in a thinner body
One of the Magic V6’s headline specifications is its 6,660mAh HONOR Silicon-carbon Battery. HONOR says it is the largest battery it has placed in a foldable smartphone, with approximately 25% silicon content and an energy density of 921Wh/L.
Charging support includes 80W wired HONOR SuperCharge and 66W wireless HONOR SuperCharge, along with wireless reverse charging. HONOR also integrates its E2 Power Enhanced Chip and RF enhancements to improve power efficiency and connectivity.
The combination of a large battery with a thinner chassis is central to the Magic V6’s positioning. Rather than sacrificing battery capacity to achieve a slimmer profile, HONOR is using higher-density silicon-carbon battery technology to retain endurance without substantially increasing bulk.
Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 performance
The HONOR Magic V6 is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 Mobile Platform, built on a 3nm process and paired with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.1 storage.
HONOR says the device uses a full-stack Vulkan graphics engine and can support up to 120fps in selected demanding games on the large inner display. The hardware is also intended to support multitasking and productivity workloads that take advantage of the foldable form factor.
AI-powered cameras and creative tools
The HONOR AI Falcon Camera System combines a 50MP Ultra Light Sensitive Main Camera, a 64MP Ultra Sensing Periscope Telephoto Camera, and a 50MP Ultra-Wide Camera.
The 64MP telephoto camera uses a 1/2-inch sensor and supports what HONOR describes as CIPA 6.5-stop image stabilization. The camera system is paired with AI-powered features including AI Color Engine, Magic Color 2.0, Magic Video Color, and AI Image to Video 2.0.
These tools are designed to assist with real-time image optimization, color processing, video creation, and other creative workflows, extending the Magic V6 beyond conventional point-and-shoot photography.
Productivity built around the foldable screen
Running MagicOS 10, the Magic V6 introduces HONOR AI Agents including AI Settings Agent, AI Photos Agent, AI Suggestion, and AI Screen Suggestions. These tools are designed to provide contextual assistance across content creation, meetings, device settings, and on-screen actions.
HONOR also introduces Fast Flex, which activates dual split-screen mode through a folding motion, while PC-level Multi-Flex is designed to support three simultaneous apps on the inner display. HONOR says the architecture can also handle files larger than 1GB while maintaining smooth multi-app performance.
The phone also supports HONOR Share for cross-device interaction with iPhone, Mac, AirPods, and Apple Watch, including file transfers, notification sharing, and dual-screen Mac workflows. Quick Share support also allows app-free file transfers between Android and compatible Apple devices.
Google Gemini built into the experience
The HONOR Magic V6 also integrates Google Gemini, allowing users to interact through text, voice, or images. Gemini Live can work with the device’s camera or screen, letting users ask questions about what they are seeing, manage schedules, handle to-do lists, and interact with connected apps.
HONOR is also including a three-month trial of Google AI Pro. According to the source, this provides access to higher-tier Gemini features, including Veo 3.1 video generation, Nano Banana Pro image generation, Flow, NotebookLM, and 5TB of cloud storage.
Pricing and availability in the Philippines
The HONOR Magic V6 is available in Red, Gold, and White and is priced at PHP119,999.
Pre-orders run from August 25 to September 4, 2026 through HONOR Experience Stores, partner stores, and online channels. Qualified customers who pre-order during the period can receive a free HONOR Pad X8b worth PHP12,999, which can be claimed beginning September 5.
With its slimmer chassis, high-capacity battery, upgraded performance, and extensive AI and multitasking features, the Magic V6 continues HONOR’s push to make foldable phones feel less like niche devices and more like everyday flagship smartphones.
