The F9 Ultra and F9 Pro combine flagship processors, dedicated graphics hardware, 185Hz displays, Sound by Bose tuning, large batteries, and 200MP cameras.
POCO has launched the POCO F9 Ultra and POCO F9 Pro in the Philippines, continuing the F Series’ push into the premium flagship segment with major upgrades in gaming performance, display, imaging, battery life, and audio.
The launch also marks the next phase of POCO’s partnership with Bose, bringing Sound by Bose technology and jointly tuned audio to both devices.

Dual-chip performance and up to 185FPS gaming
Performance sits at the center of the POCO F9 Series, with both models using a dual-chip architecture built around Qualcomm flagship mobile platforms and a dedicated VisionBoost D8 chipset.
The POCO F9 Ultra is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 Mobile Platform and records an AnTuTu score of 4,165,108, according to POCO. Both phones pair their main processors with the VisionBoost D8, which enables Smart frame rate up to 185FPS. Smart frame rate and AI Super Resolution can also operate simultaneously to improve motion smoothness and visual detail.
POCO says 185FPS gaming is available natively across more than 20 titles, while five additional games can reach 185FPS through Smart frame rate. Game Color Enhancement allows further adjustment of game visuals, while a 4,800Hz instant touch sampling rate, 480Hz 10-point touch sampling rate, and 200Hz gyro sampling rate are designed to improve control responsiveness.
The POCO 3D IceLoop cooling system is used across the lineup to help maintain performance during extended gaming sessions. The F9 Ultra also offers storage configurations up to 1TB.
185Hz HyperRGB AMOLED displays
Both phones feature 185Hz POCO HyperRGB AMOLED displays, with the F9 Ultra using a 6.9-inch panel and the F9 Pro a more compact 6.59-inch screen.
POCO HyperRGB uses a full RGB subpixel structure intended to deliver sharp visuals while consuming less power than a conventional 2K display. The F9 Series also debuts M11 luminescent material, with claimed peak brightness of up to 4,500 nits in multiple scenarios and up to 10,000 nits for HDR content.
The lineup also introduces Xiaomi Vision Care, POCO’s first comprehensive eye-care solution, and carries TÜV Rheinland Quadruple Eye Care certification.
Design-wise, the F9 Ultra adds a dynamic rear light that can display personalized effects for incoming calls, notifications, gaming, and music. The F9 Pro’s Aurora Green version introduces POCO’s first full-panel luminous design, which glows after exposure to sunlight or indoor lighting and can also be patterned using a blue-violet laser pointer.
Sound by Bose comes to the F9 Series
POCO is also expanding its collaboration with Bose for mobile audio. The F9 Ultra uses dual symmetrical 1115D stereo speakers together with a 1620 independent subwoofer to create a 2.1-channel system, while the F9 Pro uses dual symmetrical 1115F super-linear stereo speakers with a sealed cavity design.
Both models offer Dynamic and Balanced sound profiles. The lineup also introduces a Game audio mode that increases footstep loudness while retaining other in-game sound layers such as gunfire and voices, helping players identify directional audio cues more clearly.
Large batteries and HyperCharge
The POCO F9 Ultra carries an 8,050mAh battery with 16% silicon-carbon content, the largest battery yet in the POCO F Series. The F9 Pro uses a 6,330mAh battery while maintaining a more compact form factor.
Both models support 100W wired HyperCharge and 50W wireless HyperCharge. They also support up to 27W wired and 22.5W wireless reverse charging, allowing the phones to provide power to other compatible devices.
POCO’s first 200MP camera system
The POCO F9 Series introduces the brand’s first 200MP ultra-clear camera system, with optical image stabilization on both models. A dedicated 200MP mode is designed to preserve more detail for cropping and reframing, while both phones also feature 32MP front cameras.
The F9 Ultra adds a 5x periscope telephoto camera with 10x lossless zoom and 20x AI Ultra Zoom. The F9 Pro instead uses a 50MP 2.5x floating telephoto camera that can focus from as close as 10cm, allowing it to handle both macro and longer-range shots.
Across both devices, Live cinematography supports 4K ultra HD capture, automated focal transitions, and fluid lens shifts.
Philippine pricing and availability
The POCO F9 Series is available through Shopee, with an Early Bird promotion running from September 1 to 16, 2026.
The POCO F9 Ultra comes in Dark Cherry and Black. The 12GB+256GB version has an SRP of PHP55,999 and an Early Bird price of PHP45,999; the 16GB+512GB version is PHP59,999 SRP and PHP48,999 Early Bird; while the 16GB+1TB model is PHP89,999 SRP and PHP79,999 Early Bird.
The POCO F9 Pro comes in White, Aurora Green, and Black. The 12GB+256GB version has an SRP of PHP49,999 and an Early Bird price of PHP33,999, while the 12GB+512GB version is PHP54,999 SRP and PHP35,999 Early Bird. Additional Shopee and Lazada rebate pricing is also available depending on the variant and sales channel.
The Early Bird offer includes free REDMI Buds 8 Active, a 1+1-year warranty, and up to six months of screen replacement through Xiaomi Service Centers, subject to applicable terms and availability.
