Samsung has introduced the Galaxy S26 FE, expanding the Galaxy S26 family with a more accessible model that brings many of the series’ camera, AI, display, and software experiences into the Fan Edition line.
The Galaxy S26 FE is the first model in the Galaxy S26 lineup to launch with One UI 9, combining Samsung’s latest interface with more context-aware Galaxy AI features. It also comes with an upgraded triple-camera system, a 6.7-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display, and a 4,900mAh battery while maintaining a 7.4mm profile and 193g weight.
“Galaxy S26 FE is purposefully designed to deliver the signature strengths of the Galaxy S series, ensuring that every feature makes a meaningful difference in users’ daily lives,” said Jay Kim, executive vice president and head of Customer Experience Office, Mobile eXperience Business at Samsung Electronics.
Smarter camera tools for photos and video
The Galaxy S26 FE features a 50MP main camera with OIS, a 12MP ultra-wide camera, and an 8MP telephoto camera offering 3x optical zoom and up to 30x digital zoom. Up front is a 12MP selfie camera with an 85-degree field of view.
Samsung is also bringing My FanCam to the FE line after introducing the feature on its latest foldables. My FanCam automatically tracks a selected person and keeps them centered in the frame, adjusting the composition as they move to make dynamic video easier to capture with less manual reframing.
For moving footage, Super Steady with Horizontal Lock is designed to keep video smoother and more level during activities, travel, and other situations where the camera is in motion. Samsung’s Nightography processing also carries over to help preserve brightness and detail in low-light scenes.
AI extends from capture to editing
Samsung is integrating more generative and assisted editing into the Galaxy S26 FE through Galaxy AI. Photo Assist allows users to describe changes using natural-language prompts, including changing the look of a scene, adding elements, or restoring missing areas.
Edits can be reviewed step by step, with users able to revise or undo changes along the way. Gemini Omni adds another creative option by allowing users to create and edit video clips from photos and videos stored in Gallery.
These tools extend the phone’s camera experience beyond image capture, with AI increasingly involved in how users refine and repurpose their content afterward.
One UI 9 brings more context-aware assistance
One UI 9 introduces updated Galaxy AI experiences designed to surface information and suggestions according to a user’s routines and context.
Now Brief gains customizable briefing cards for information such as weather and wellness insights. Users can also create their own cards through prompts, giving them more control over what appears in their daily briefings.
Now Nudge expands to selected third-party apps and notifications, surfacing relevant suggestions throughout the day. Meanwhile, Circle to Search with Google can now identify multiple items in a single image, allowing users to search for several products, places, or objects at once.
6.7-inch AMOLED display and Exynos 2500
The Galaxy S26 FE uses a 6.7-inch FHD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with a 60Hz to 120Hz refresh rate and peak brightness of 1,900 nits.
Inside is Samsung’s Exynos 2500, a 3nm processor paired with 8GB of memory and storage options of 128GB, 256GB, or 512GB. Connectivity includes 5G, LTE, Wi-Fi 6E, Wi-Fi Direct, and Bluetooth 5.4.
The phone is also IP68-rated for dust and water resistance under Samsung’s specified laboratory conditions, including submersion in up to 1.5 meters of freshwater for up to 30 minutes.
4,900mAh battery with 45W charging
A 4,900mAh typical battery powers the Galaxy S26 FE. Samsung says the device can reach up to 69% charge in around 30 minutes when used with a compatible 45W adapter, which is sold separately.
The phone also supports 15W Fast Wireless Charging and Wireless PowerShare for compatible devices. Actual charging performance and battery life will vary according to usage, network conditions, charger, and other factors.
Easier switching and longer software support
Samsung is also updating Smart Switch to simplify migration from Android or iOS. Users can scan a QR code and wirelessly transfer supported information including passwords, passkeys, call history, accessibility settings, and eSIM data without installing additional apps.
The Galaxy S26 FE is promised up to seven generations of OS upgrades and seven years of security updates, extending the phone’s usable software life. Samsung Care+ is also supported, with One UI 9 introducing a Warranty and care settings hub where customers can manage enrollment and related device-care services.
Samsung is also including a six-month free trial of Google AI Pro, which the release says comes with expanded AI capabilities and 5TB of cloud storage. Applicable eligibility and offer conditions should be checked at activation.
Philippine pricing and availability
The Galaxy S26 FE is available in Blueberry, Graphite, and Pistachio. Philippine pricing is PHP46,990 for 128GB, PHP53,990 for 256GB, and PHP67,990 for 512GB.
Samsung states that the phone is available through Samsung Experience Stores nationwide, with Samsung.com availability by September 11. Introductory discounts and financing and trade-in offers are available through November 30, 2026.
