The PHANTOM X2 Pro 5G brings photography using a smartphone to the next level with its four exceptional, high quality cameras. It has a 50MP retractable portrait lens with 65mm focal length and a 2.5x optical zoom, large F1.49 aperture and shallow 18.9cm depth of field creating a stunningly pure optical bokeh for breathtaking portraiture, a technological breakthrough for smartphone cameras. The world-first, innovative lens enables users to shoot portraits with quality that are comparable to professional camera shots, as showcased by a series of photos we captured at the Masungi Georeserve.
The PHANTOM X2 Pro 5G ingenious camera lens re-imagines what’s possible with a pocket-sized smartphone camera. Phantom X2 Series’ groundbreaking camera technology wowed some of our local photographers who joined us during the event, Nicco Valenzuela and Tacio Bautista. “When I opened the box and saw the camera, I was amazed with the three lenses so my expectations were high. The camera exceeded my expectations. It is super easy to use with fast autofocus, crisp image quality and what I love the most is, you can control the aperture so you can get a DSLR-like photo. I even compared it to the mirrorless camera I am using and it is way better. This is now my go-to camera especially when I travel,” said photographer Tacio Bautista.
Advanced RGBW camera for incredible nighttime imaging
PHANTOM X2 5G’s 64MP main camera features an RGBW sensor and a glass (5P+1G) lens for stunning portrait photography, even with less light at night. The RGBW sensor features a transparent (or “white”) element which increases the sensor’s light intake by 60%.
