Vivo launched the Y69, it’s newest mid-range phone, last September 8 in Pasig.
The latest addition to Vivo’s Y series of phones boasts of 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of on-board storage, upgradeable to 256 GB via microSD. It is powered by an octa-core MT6750 processor and runs on Vivo’s Funtouch OS 3.2 based on Android 7.0.
The Vivo Y69 highlights its powerful, 16-megapixel front-facing camera with a softlight glow feature for even better selfies. The rear camera is an f/2.0, 13-megapixel shooter with a Live Photo feature.
The Y69 also sports fast fingerprint unlocking via the solid-state, 2.0-second fingerprint scanner doubling as the home button.
The display is a 5.5-inch, 720p screen protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3, and supports Vivo’s Smart Split 3.0 which allows supported apps to run side by side. Smart Split can be used with Facebook, WhatsApp, Line, BBM, WeChat, Viber, Messages, YouTube, MX Player, VLC and the phone’s system video player.
Another unique feature for the Y69 is the App Clone function which allows the use of two different accounts per application simultaneously. Users can register both personal and work accounts for WhatsApp, Line, BBM, WeChat, Zalo and Viber without having to constantly switch between them.
