Under Armour continues its upward streak in the Philippines, creating towering waves in the local market with its newly opened retail store in SM Megamall. The new store follows the launch of the brand’s first-ever store in the Southeast Asian (SEA) region—located at the Bonifacio High Street—earlier this year.
“Opening in Megamall is a natural step for the brand’s expansion in the Philippines,” Carlos Maza, senior director, New Markets, Under Armour, expressed of the brand’s new foray in SEA. “The response to our brand from athletes in the Philippine’s has been tremendous and we look forward to increase our presence throughout the country.”
The US-based performance footwear and apparel giant’s 2nd retail store in the country is strategically located in the premier business and shopping hub, Ortigas, to serve a bigger host of athletes and fitness enthusiasts, altogether. The store was designed to present a new high-energy and signature gritty retail experience, which Under Armour is famed for, in the Philippines.
