SanDisk Corporation, the global leader in flash storage solutions, introduced the SanDisk Extreme PRO USB 3.0 flash drive that features professional-grade performance—up to 60 times faster than the standard USB 2.0 drives, and a generous 128GB of storage.

    Extreme Pro USB 3.0

The SanDisk Extreme PRO USB 3.0 flash drive provides writing speeds of up to 240MB/s and reading speeds up to 260MB/s. These speeds can allow users to transfer a full-length movie in seconds, or 1,000 hi-res photo in less than 35 seconds, making the drive a perfect device for storing photos and videos. During the launch demonstration, it was able to seamlessly move a 1GB movie file in just 13 short seconds.

It comes in a stunning aluminum metal casing that protects against wear and tear. Every purchase comes with SanDisk SecureAccess software, which provides 128-bit AES file encryption and password protection to make your selected files secured, while leaving less sensitive files open for public viewing. In the event of accidental flash drive formatting, the files secured in the vault will remain untouched. It also comes with a lifetime limited warranty.

Dual_USB_Drive_angleDown_closeLaunched at the media workshop as well is the SanDisk Ultra Dual USB Drive that features both micro-USB and USB 2.0 connectors in one compact shell.  It is designed for the latest Android devices, enabling users to transfer files from computer to smartphone, or from smartphone to another smartphone—bridging the gap between two devices.  To make file transfers and browsing even more painless, SanDisk offers its Memory Zone app, which lets users view files according to type, and move files simpler than most media managers do. It is also built with sliding covers to keep the connectors safe.

Unlike other methods of transferring files, the SanDisk Ultra Dual USB Drive simply needs to be connected to a mobile device supporting USB on-the-go to access up to 64GB of plug-and-play storage. Upon insertion of the drive, it automatically launches the SanDisk Memory Zone App, to help you navigate through the files.

Both drives will be available by March. The 128GB SanDisk Extreme PRO USB 3.0 flash drive comes at a suggested retail price of Php 13,500, while The SanDisk Ultra Dual USB Drive are available at suggested retail prices of Php 980 (16GB), Php 1,600 (32GB) and Php 2,980 (64GB).
