Globe has introduced Globe Cloud, a digital storage service designed to help Filipino users free up space on their devices while keeping photos, videos, documents, and other important files protected and accessible.
Unveiled during the second edition of The Blueprint by Globe, the service combines cloud backup, file organization, multi-device access, privacy features, and creative photo tools. Globe Cloud is offered in storage capacities ranging from 50GB to 2TB, with subscriptions starting at PHP39 for 30 days.
Back up and organize digital content
Globe Cloud allows customers to back up photos and videos, organize their content into albums, and access files across supported devices. Flashbacks and Highlights features can also surface older photos and help users revisit saved memories.
The platform includes AI-powered editing tools that can enhance older photographs or transform images into stylized 3D, cartoon, anime, and other creative versions. Sensitive content can be stored in a Private Folder protected by a personal identification number or biometric authentication.

Plans from 50GB to 2TB
Globe Cloud is available through four subscription tiers designed for different storage requirements:
- Globe Cloud Basic: 50GB for PHP39 per 30 days
- Globe Cloud Standard: 200GB for PHP169 per 30 days
- Globe Cloud Premium: 1TB for PHP379 per 30 days
- Globe Cloud Premium+: 2TB for PHP499 per 30 days
Customers may also receive an introductory rate of PHP5 per month for the first three months. Globe positions the flexible subscription structure as an alternative for users who want additional storage without committing to more expensive monthly services.
No credit card required
Globe Cloud subscriptions do not require a credit card, making the service accessible to customers who prefer other payment methods. Subscription packs are offered through the GlobeOne app, allowing users to select a plan based on their current storage needs.
Customers can initially access Globe Cloud through its Android application or a web browser. The service is intended to let users retrieve stored content across multiple devices rather than keeping their files tied to a single phone.

As smartphones become the main devices used to capture photos, record videos, store documents, and communicate online, available storage can quickly become limited. Users are often left choosing between deleting files, transferring them manually, or paying for additional storage through an existing platform.
