    If you’re a Lumix fan, you’ll be pleased to know that Panasonic has announced 6 new cameras, kicking off their 2012 lineup. Here are four of them, at a glance.

    Included in the list are two new super zooms with similar specifications – both cameras have 24mm ultra wide-angle lenses, Panasonic’s Venus Engine processor, and their famous Intelligent Auto (iA) mode, guaranteeing performance and maximum creativity. Pictured on the left, the ZS20 (TZ30) has a 14.1mp MOS sensor with 20x optical zoom, along with the ability to shoot Full-HD Video at 60p. The second super zoom (pictured on the right) is the ZS15 (TZ25), which has a 12.1MP MOS sensor, 16x optical zoom, and can shoot video at 60i Full HD.

    There are also two entry-level compacts equipped with “bright lenses”, the FX80 (left) and LS6 (right), which feature Optical Image Stabilization and iA mode. The FX80 has a 12.1-megapixel sensor and a 24mm f/2.5 LEICA DC lens. It has a 5x digital zoom, and can record videos at 1920 x 1080 60i. The LS6 on the other hand, has a 14.1megapixel sensor with a 26mm f/2.8 lens, and can shoot 720p HD video.

    If you were eagerly waiting for a micro 4/3 announcement, don’t despair for rumors are circulating that it might come in a few months time.
