Pioneer’s HDJ-X7 monitors are based on the company’s previous flagship model, the HDJ-2000MK2 professional headphones, but this time the HDJ-X7 gets a 50 mm driver upgrade for more accurate audio reproduction. The shape and materials of the new diaphragm are optimized to create tighter bass tones and cleaner high frequencies than the 2000MK2 it was derived from. Like the new flagship HDJ-X10, the HDJ-X7 is built with premium materials and is sturdily constructed to handle heavy use.
