    LG OLED TV

As consumers look for devices with higher and higher resolution, display manufacturers have had to rise the bar, delivering better and better displays with every generation of TV they create. LG has not backed down from this challenge. Their TV are consistently some of the best available in the market, and push the boundaries of current television technology. They were the first to introduce the first 84-inch Ultra HD TV, which boasted an amazing 4.3 million pixels on the panel; four times greater than Full HD.

LG was also the first TV manufacturer to create a 55-inch OLED TV, which gave viewers amazing picture quality in a frame that was an impossible 4mm thick, and 10kg heavy. These revolutionary TVs had no need for backlights and therefore much less power. It also combined LG’s industry-leading industry-leading CINEMA 3D technology with Smart TV capabilities.

LG is taking displays another step further with the world’s first curved OLED TV. The device, which is a huge 55 inches wide, and 4.3mm thick puts the IMAX experience right in your own living room. The screen’s shape makes images look more alive, and brings you closer to the action than traditional, flat screens.

Even their mobile phones feature class-leading displays. Both the G2 and Optimus G Pro offer astounding image quality that fit in your pocket. The G2 in particular, with its massive 5.2-inch screen and gorgeous Full HD IPS display represent the cutting edge of mobile display technology.

The picture quality of LG products has been globally acclaimed through various international honors.  The LG Curved OLED TV won the “Best of the Best” prize at the Red Dot Design Award.  It is also the first TV in the world to achieve THX display certification, which verifies its world-class picture quality.  The LG 84-inch Ultra HD TV scored certification from Underwriter Laboratories, a respected product testing body which rigorously measures the energy-efficiency, viewing angle, contrast consistency, color accuracy, and 3D performance of a TV display.  This same product bagged the Best Picture Quality Technology Award at the China Digital TV Forum.  And most recently, the LG Optimus G Pro smartphone won “Best LTE Device” at the LTE World Summit 2013.
