Beleaguered (and quite bankrupt) company Kodak has finally gotten a break – a US judge has ruled against Apple’s bid to sue the imaging company. U.S. Bankruptcy Judge Allan Gropper said that it was an “inappropriate way forward” to allow Apple to continue pursuing claims against Kodak while the company is in bankruptcy. The suit leveraged against Kodak is centered around the ability to preview digital photographs in LCD screens. The judge also denied Apple’s request to file a new patent infringement lawsuit against Kodak over printer and digital camera patents. Maybe now the company can finally find a way complete their restructuring and finally become awesome again.
