ASUS Republic of Gamers has announced the availability of the ROG Strix XG27AQNGV, a 27-inch QHD esports gaming monitor designed to deliver extreme speed, clarity, and flexibility for competitive play. The XG27AQNGV combines ASUS Ultrafast IPS technology, a 360Hz refresh rate, and next-generation NVIDIA G-SYNC Pulsar technology to deliver up to four times the effective motion clarity of traditional LCD panels, without requiring a CPU or GPU upgrade.
G-SYNC Pulsar for ultimate motion clarity
The ROG Strix XG27AQNGV features a built-in NVIDIA G-SYNC processor with G-SYNC Pulsar technology, which pairs variable refresh rate with advanced backlight strobing. This combination enables exceptionally clear motion, even in fast-paced scenes, while maintaining tear-free gameplay. ASUS notes that achieving comparable clarity through refresh rate alone would theoretically require a display with a refresh rate exceeding 1000Hz, underscoring the efficiency of Pulsar technology.
360Hz ultrafast IPS performance
Equipped with ASUS Ultrafast IPS technology, the XG27AQNGV delivers a 1ms gray-to-gray response time while retaining wide viewing angles and accurate color reproduction. The native 2560 × 1440 resolution, paired with a 360Hz refresh rate, ensures sharp visuals and smooth gameplay suited to competitive esports titles.
The monitor also supports ULMB 2, further reducing motion blur for players who prioritize visual clarity during rapid movement.
Esports dual mode flexibility
To cater to competitive gamers who prefer smaller screen sizes, the ROG Strix XG27AQNGV includes an Esports Dual Mode. This allows gameplay on a resized 25-inch diagonal image at either 1080p or a pixel-perfect 2368 × 1332 resolution. ASUS reports almost no perceivable latency difference when using Dual Mode, giving the monitor one of the lowest latency profiles in its class.
Ambient adaptive viewing comfort
NVIDIA G-SYNC Ambient Adaptive technology is integrated via a built-in light sensor that automatically adjusts brightness and color temperature based on environmental lighting. This ensures a more natural, comfortable viewing experience during extended gaming sessions.
Connectivity and ergonomic design
The XG27AQNGV offers a wide range of connectivity options, including DisplayPort 1.4 with DSC, two HDMI 2.1 ports, a USB hub, and an earphone jack. The ergonomic stand supports tilt, swivel, pivot, and height adjustment, while VESA mount compatibility allows flexible installation for gaming setups.
Availability and pricing
The ASUS ROG Strix XG27AQNGV will be available in the Philippines starting the second week of February 2026, with a suggested retail price of PHP45,000.
