AOC Monitor was present at the recently concluded Electronic Sports and Gaming Summit (ESGS) 2017.
As one of the biggest gaming events in Southeast Asia, ESGS is highly anticipated and it was only expected for the big names in the world of gaming to be present. The summit, which was held at the SMX Convention Center in Pasay City, was an overwhelming success having been attended by over 19,000 gamers and e-sports fans.
AOC Monitor, as one of the major exhibitors at the convention, showcased its AGON line of gaming panels. Along with their interactive display of monitors, the brand also held a myriad of raffles, games, and giveaways for fans who dropped by the booth. Prior to the event, AOC Gaming also awarded ESGS tickets to a lucky few.
The brand also hosted a three-day Counter-Strike: Global Offensive tournament at their booth. This event drew a large crowd, with many participating in the fps action. A brand new AOC i2280SWN monitor on the line, participants competed in a heated series of one on one matches. The competition was facilitated by Alvin Pacheco, Pinoy Rig Enthusiasts content creator and AOC Gaming brand influencer.
AOC Gaming brand influencers, including: Grant Soriano of Back2Gaming.com; Mickee Lacerna of MadMods PC Modding; Kang Dupet; and Twitch streamer Paco Santos aka PacoMNL also graced and facilitated activities at the AOC Gaming booth.
AOC Monitor also gave away an AOC E2470SWN monitor to a lucky winner each day, as part of the festivities. The E2470SWN features a 75 Hz overclockable refresh rate and a 1080p resolution, perfect elements for a dynamic gaming session. SM movie tickets and various freebies were also given away as consolation prizes.
The brand is preparing more events and product releases in 2018 featuring the AGON line of gaming monitors at the fore.
