Following its successful SEA launch in Jakarta, Indonesia, Asus has officially rolled out its much-anticipated flagship smartphone in the Philippine market.
The latest iteration of the ZenFone, features an ergonomic design paired with hardware that packs a mean punch. The local launch gathered a whopping number of consumers, dealers, and media at the World Trade Center, eagerly waiting to get their hands on the ZenFone 2.
Some of the features that make this iteration exceptional are a 13MP PixelMaster snapper, Android 5.0 Lollipop OS, a 64-bit Intel Atom Z3580 processor, and 4GB RAM, let me repeat that, 4GB of RAM. Also, users get to enjoy blazing fast internet speeds with its Intel LTE-Advanced modem that makes for reliable 4G/LTE connectivity.
On the outside, the ZenFone 2 sports a gorgeous sleek, brushed-metal finish, and concentric-circle detailing, along with new refinements such as a curved case all in an incredibly-thin 3.9mm frame. It also comes with a 5.5-inch Full HD IPS+ screen that provides a maximized viewing experience in the palm of your hand. Powering the ZenFone 2’s many features is a 3000mAh battery, more than enough juice to get you through the day.
Asus also announced the availability and pricing of smartphone peripherals that would perfectly go together with the ZenFone 2.
The Zenfone 2 will be available next week in all authorized resellers nationwide. Two ZenFone 2 variants will be shipped locally; the ZE551ML will sell for PHP 9,995, PHP 13,995, and PHP 14,995 for the 16GB, 32GB, and 64GB variants, respectively. The 5-inch ZenFone 2 variant (ZE500CL), on the one hand, will retail for PHP 7,995.
