It’s official!
The leading provider of imaging and optical products in the world, Canon Inc., has sealed a sponsorship agreement with Olympic Council of Asia for the upcoming Asian Games. It will be held in Jakarta and Palembang, Indonesia from August 18 to September 2, 2018.
Currently on its 18th year, the Asian Games is an international sports competition exclusively for Asia countries which is held once every four years. Around 10,000 athletes from 45 countries will compete in 462 events.
As an official sponsor of 18th Asian Games, Canon will provide behind-the-scenes support to members of the press covering the 18th Asian Games. This includes camera and lens maintenance services and product loans for them to capture remarkable moments of the best athletes in their corresponding sports. Video camcorders, broadcast equipment, network cameras, copiers, and multi-function devices and printers are just among the products that the sports journalists may choose from.
