MT Pro Bikes is one of the major bike & bike parts distributor in the Philippines & one of their main brands include Commencal bikes, Spank, Funn & Hopetech bike part brands, among others. Recognizing the need for a place to showcase their brands, MT Pro Bikes officially launched the first-ever showroom café in Manila last August 10, 2017, located at the basement level of Treston International College in Bonifacio Global City.
The showroom café features displays of the latest Commencal bike models and unique walls dedicated to each major brand that they carry. The warm & cozy interiors of the showroom, including a nice bar and lounging area will definitely draw the typical laid-back mountain riders to drop by and check out the place.
“We needed a place where mountain bikers can get to know more technical stuff about our bike brand Commencal & other quality bike part brands, and at the same time provide a steady place for riders to hang out with their bike buddies, grab a cup of coffee and some snacks after a long ride,”said Anthony Genuino, managing director of MT Pro Bikes.
The showroom also has a cool merchandise section where branded items such as apparels, jerseys, shirts, caps, mugs, water bottles are available for purchase.
MT Pro Bikes also released the first volume of their recently published “Commencal Newsletter” during the said event. The Commencal Newsletter will be a semi-annual release created locally for bike enthusiasts with specialized interest in mountain biking, but most specially put together for Commencal owners and fanatics who wants to catch a sneak peek of what’s new and what’s up with the local MTB scene. It will regularly feature bike personas, bike shops to find the latest products, new and popular bike tracks and places, cycling tips, great new products and upcoming events to watch out for.
The event was graced by numerous industry partners, dealers, brand ambassadors, family & friends, including FUNN international owner Dominic Loh, who presented soon-to-be-released items to all bikers and dealers who attended the event.
On top of that, an exclusive garage sale was also hosted by MT Pro Bikes during the event with marked down prices for selected brands and items, this sale was made available onl to all Commencal Exclusives members & bike shop dealers.
