The single most promising young racer in the Philippines, Marlon Stockinger, is once again going to show off his skills, and bring the thrill of F1 racing to the Philippines in Globe Slipstream 2.0. The event, which will be held tomorrow, 27 June, 2015, at the Bonifacio Global City, celebrates the journey of Marlon Stockinger as the first and only Filipino to make his way into the competitive world of Formula One racing.
“This sport may not be as common as boxing and basketball in the country, but with Slipstream2.0, we can bring Marlon’s journey and the F1 experience closer to the Filipinos,”said Dan Horan, Senior Advisor for Consumer Business. “This year, Slipstreamevolves into a family entertainment event. People will not only witness Marlon’s driving skills but there are many activities to enjoy. From 12NN to 5PM, the public can enjoy driving exhibitions, motorcycle stunts, and car parade and exhibit. Marlon’s famous Lotus-Gravity Charouz Renault 3.5 car will also be on display for public viewing and photo opportunities. Marlon will be at the event to show his amazing driving skills, as well as to meet and greet the lucky winners of the Slipstream contest.
Apart from Marlon and his sweet ride, there will also be exhibits showing off some of the flashiest, most gorgeous vehicles ever to hit the blacktop. Come early, bring your family, and be prepared to experience Formula 1 up close.
