To cater its customers in Northern Luzon, motorcycle manufacturer Suzuki and dealer Suzuki has recently partnered for its first ever Suzuki-Wheeltek Biketoberfest. The event took place in the city’s Freedom Park from October 18 to 20.
Suzuki riders from Nueva Ecija gathered for a motorcade and safety riding lesson courtesy of Mr. Noel Villapando of Suzuki Philippines’ Safety Riding Authority. The Japanese motorcycle brand has prepared a lot of activities including test rides and selling of their models, free maintenance service, motor show, battle of the bands, and a meet and greet with the country’s fastest female motorcycle racer Jacq Buncio. Also known as the younger sister of the late racing prodigy, the 18-year-old has recently earned a championship title in the Rookie class of Philippine Superbikes. She was also named as the overall first runner-up in the Heavyweight A category of the Pirelli Cup. Racing under Suzuki-Wheeltek team, she was on board with GSX -R1000R.
Several bands showcased their musical prowess through the battle of the bands. The band WE was held as champions while Trianggulo and Isla Berde bagged the first and second places respectively. Special awards were also given and these were Best Vocalist (Temple of Messiah), Best Drummer (WE), Best Bassist and Best Guitarist (Anniphilus). Guest bands who performed were Nueva Ecija’s pride Malicmata and Whitewalkers from Quezon City.
On its last day, Wheeltek offered promos and low downpayment rate as low as of PHP 1,888 on selected models.
