Lenovo has just launched three new additions to its A-Series of affordable yet powerful smartphone line.

Lenovo A316i: Hip and Fun
A sure fit for the young and the young at heart; the A316i is a smartphone that’s easy on the pocket. The A316i is powered by 1.3GHz dual-core CPU and runs on Jelly Bean Android 4.2. It has 512MB of RAM and a 4-inch capacitive display with 800×480 pixels. The user-friendly Lenovo A316i has dual-SIM slots, 4GB memory that is expandable up to 32GB via microSD, and 2-megapixel Fixed Focus rear-facing camera.
Lenovo A680: Bold and Strong
The A680 sports a 5-inch capacitive display with WVGA 854×480 pixels, a MediaTek 1.3GHz quad-core CPU, and runs on Jelly Bean Android 4.2 paired with 1GB of RAM. Encased in an elegant black polycarbonate body, the Lenovo A680 also has dual-SIM slots and features a 5-megapixel rear-facing Fixed Focus camera. With excellent multimedia experience in mind, the A680 is built with 4GB of memory on board which is expandable up to 32GB via MicroSD.
Lenovo A859: Powerful and Industrial
Topping it all off, the Lenovo A859 packs a ton of features. It has a 5-inch IPS LCD capacitive display, a MediaTek MT6582 1.3GHz quad-core chipset with 1 GB of RAM, and runs on Jelly Bean Android 4.2. The A859 also features an 8-megapixel autofocus camera with LED flash, an 8 GB memory (expandable up to 32 GB via microSD), and a 1.6-megapixel front-facing camera.
Price and Availability
The suggested retail price of the Lenovo A316i is PHP 3,999; the Lenovo A680 is being offered at PHP 6,499; while the Lenovo A859 is priced at PHP 10,999.
The three new models under the Lenovo A Series are now available in Lenovo Mobile Exclusive Stores in Metro Manila, Davao, Cebu and Roxas City as well as at authorized dealers of Open Communications, Lenovo’s exclusive smartphone distributor in the Philippines.
