    Reaping international accolades left and right, the LG G2 has secured its superstar status in the mobile phone market. LG is yet to create a buzz in the tech sphere with the release of two diverse and powerful smartphones. A proud addition to its premium LG G Series, LG launched the G Pro 2 and the G2 Mini to the local market.

    LG G Pro 2: Bigger is better

    The LG G Pro 2, coming in at 5.9 inches, boasts a Full HD IPS display and is encased in an almost non-existent 3.3mm side bezels.  It is crafted with the new 1 Watt Hi-Fi speaker which, produces clear, crisp, and amplified sound output, contributing to a superb multimedia experience.

    The phablet runs on a 2.26GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 chipset paired with 3GB of RAM.  It is powered by Android 4.4 KitKat and sports a 3,200mAh removable battery.

    Present in the G Pro 2 is the UX feature, Mini View. This feature enables users to minimize their displays, while the Dual Browser allows users to open two apps that is visible on the screen at the same time.

    What’s more, the G Pro 2 features a 13-megapixel Full HD camera with OIS+ (Optical Image Stabilizer Plus) that is complemented with 120 frames-per-second HD video recording, slow-motion playback with adjustable speed, 4K Ultra HD recording, Magic Focus, Natural Flash, and flash capability for the front camera.

    Literally a mini version of the flagship LG G2, the handy device comes in at 4.7 inches.  A powerful, mini equivalent of its larger sibling, the device offers a 4.7-inch qHD IPS display, Rear Key access button, quad-core CPU, and Android 4.4 KitKat OS. Completing the ultimate smartphone experience is its 2,440mAh removable battery.

    With ultimate security in mind, LG has integrated a unique security feature in the G Pro 2 and the G2 Mini. The Knock Code enables users to enter a customized tapping or knocking pattern on the display, which becomes their own personal code. It can produce 80,000 possible combinations and no fingerprint streaks.

    The LG G Pro 2 phablet is available to the local market at PHP 32,990, while the LG G2 Mini smartphone retails for PHP 13,990.
