Asus has recently announced the availability of the MeMO Pad 7 (ME176CX) and Fonepad 7 (FE170CG) locally.

The latest iteration of the MeMO Pad is now equipped with a 64-bit Intel quad-core chipset, making it an affordable, yet powerful tablet. Now a more convenient device, the MeMO Pad HD 7 features upgrades such as slimmer bezels, thinner build, and Miracast support. It’s clear 7-inch 1280×800 HD IPS display is paired with aptX audio coding, plus it runs on the latest Android OS 4.4 KitKat along with brand new Asus Zen UI.
To capture priceless moments, the MeMO Pad 7 also sports 0.3MP front-facing and 2MP rear-facing cameras. What’s more, for just PHP 6,995 you get an onboard storage of 8GB and expandable memory of up to 64GB via MicroSD, plus a variety of colors to choose from (white, yellow, red, blue and black).
Asus Fonepad 7: a synergy of beauty and innovation
The new Fonepad 7 now comes with 3G support and is powered by a 1.2GHz Intel Atom dual-core processor with Hyper-Threading technology. Also built with a narrower bezel, this upgraded version of the Fonepad comes integrated with the new ZenUI interface and various features such as, 1024 x 600 display and ASUS SonicMaster technology. Moreover, it runs on Android 4.3 Jelly Bean and is upgradable to 4.4 KitKat.
The Fonepad 7 FE170CG is priced at PHP 5,995 and is available (together with the new MeMO Pad) in all authorized ASUS dealers nationwide.
