Hey, Apple fans! While the iPad Mini 2 with Retina Display is still cooking, Apple’s new-generation iPad is rumored to hit markets in the third quarter of this year.
According to a report from Taiwanese site Digitimes, they were able to speak with “supply chain makers” who allegedly told them that the production of the newest Apple tablet will begin in July or August with the release date following suit.
Other reports also tell us that the 5th generation of the iPad will have an overall thinner design, a narrower side bezel that is similar to the iPad Mini, and is 20 to 30 percent lighter than its predecessor.
Although this news has yet to be confirmed or denied, we are excited to see the new generation of the iPad. We’ll keep you posted for the latest updates!
