LG has always been a brand close to my heart. They have always released phones that are functional while at the same time, a cut above other brands aesthetically. Just this week, LG launched their newest flagship device, the LG Optimus G Pro that furthers their aim to give users a beautiful device with substance.
The Optimus G Pro gives comes with a gorgeous 5.5-inch full HD IPS display, 13 Megapixel main camera, a 2.1 Full-HD front camera, and a 1.7 GHZ Quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 Processor under the hood. LG reps said it gave a solid 24% increase in performance with reduced power draw. The device also comes with a massive 3,140mAh battery, larger that other phones in its class, that allows the G Pro better battery life than smartphones in its class.
Among the other class-leading features of the new LG Flagship are camera features such as VR Panorama, which allows you to take a 360-degree shot of your surroundings in beautiful HD. It also lets you pause, instead of stopping, recording, letting you stitch together a video right on the phone.
The device also features LTE connectivity. As a matter of fact, it was recently hailed as the “Best LTE Device/Handset” at the LTE World Summit 2013.
“The LG Optimus G Pro is sure to set another benchmark in the Philippine smartphone market,” Lawrence Kim, vice president of LG Electronics Philippines’ Mobile Communications division, said. “The newest addition to the Optimus family embodies the beauty of the Optimus G but has bigger and bolder features that give the market a more compelling choice for a high-end smartphone.”
