Wattpad is celebrating its 20th anniversary with a return to the Manila International Book Fair 2026, bringing together Filipino writers and readers for five days of signings, meet-and-greets, fan activities, and special anniversary experiences.
The platform will be at the SMX Convention Center from September 9 to 13, with the Philippines remaining one of Wattpad’s largest global markets. The anniversary program puts the spotlight on Filipino writers whose stories have attracted millions of reads, built large fan communities, reached best-seller lists, and in some cases been adapted for television and film.
A five-day celebration of Wattpad stories
Throughout MIBF 2026, visitors can head to the Wattpad booth at Booths 2-156 and 2-157 on the second floor of the SMX Convention Center. The booth will operate daily from 10:00AM to 8:00PM and will feature an interactive Reader Passport challenge that gives fans the chance to collect exclusive anniversary merchandise.
Author signings and meet-and-greets will also run throughout the fair. Among the featured writers are Knightinblack, whose Hell University has more than 183 million reads; beeyotch, whose Seducing Drake Palma has more than 85 million reads; and CeCeLib, whose Possessive series has more than 80 million reads.
The schedule also includes appearances from a broad lineup of Wattpad creators across September 11 to 13, giving readers multiple opportunities to meet writers across different sessions.
Hershey’s joins the anniversary celebration
Wattpad and The Hershey Company are also continuing their collaboration around Filipino storytelling with a special in-booth activation on September 12.

Writers take the main stage
On September 11 from 1:30PM to 2:30PM, Wattpad will host a panel titled “Just One More Chapter” at the ground-floor stage area of the SMX Convention Center.
The discussion will feature some of Wattpad’s biggest Filipino writers talking about their stories, sources of inspiration, and creative journeys. The panel gives readers a chance to hear more about how stories develop beyond the page and how creators build sustained relationships with their audiences.
