Metrobank has partnered with Mastercard to bring the Priceless Planet Coalition to its credit cardholders, allowing everyday purchases to contribute to global reforestation efforts through the redemption of rewards points.
From June 30 to December 30, 2026, Metrobank Mastercard credit cardholders can redeem 8,000 rewards points to fund the planting of four trees using the Metrobank App or SMS. The initiative enables customers to support environmental restoration while continuing to earn rewards through their regular spending.
The Priceless Planet Coalition is supported by the global non-profit organizations Conservation International and the World Resources Institute, which oversee the scientific selection, implementation, and long-term monitoring of the coalition’s forest restoration projects.
“This partnership lets everyday spending do something more meaningful. It’s our way of helping customers not just manage their finances, but also support causes that matter, making impact part of daily life,” said Gail Male, head of Metrobank Credit Cards, Personal Loans and Digital Channels Group.
“We are happy to partner with Metrobank and enable their clients to make a positive impact on the environment. Together with Metrobank, we are turning everyday purchases into opportunities to support reforestation and create lasting impact,” said Jason Crasto, Mastercard country manager.
The Priceless Planet Coalition brings together consumers, financial institutions, and organizations to support environmental and social initiatives through everyday financial transactions. Through the partnership, Metrobank expands the ways customers can use their rewards while contributing to sustainability efforts.
Eligible cardholders can participate by using their Metrobank Mastercard credit cards for everyday purchases and redeeming accumulated rewards points through the Metrobank App.
