The country’s pioneer compact car distributor, Suzuki Philippines Inc. (SPH), has launched the all-new Suzuki XL7 SUV and the Suzuki S-Presso compact crossover.
The All-New Suzuki XL7
Combining dynamic interior with its seating capacity up to seven passengers and wider legroom, the XL7 boosts is powered with a 15B engine that allows desirable speed to and from every destination. The XL7 delivers an output power of 103hp/6,000 rpm and torque at 138N-m/4,400rpm that will surely make road trips and even city driving a breeze. It now sports a bolder exterior look, adding front fenders. The vehicle can load up to 199 L of cargo and is equipped with advanced and sleek convenient features. These include a rear parking sensor and rear parking camera to ensure safety in every drive, dual airbags backed up by Anti-lock Brake System (ABS) with Electric Brake-force Distribution (EBD) and Electronic Stability Programme (ESP), advanced multi-information LCD display for real-time viewing of current conditions of the vehicle, automatic aircon controls, and keyless push-start function. There’s also a 10-inch infotainment system with Apple Carplay and Android Auto support, ventilated cup holders, and a new generation HEARTECT platform.
Apart from optimizing the driving experience, the HEARTECT platform also disperses energy effectively during a collision for better safety and gives the SUV high maneuverability by its greater front-wheel turning radius.
The all-new XL7 is priced at an SRP of PHP 1,068,000.00 and comes in four colorways: brave khaki and snow white both in pearl finish, and magma gray and sunrise orange in a metallic finish.
The Suzuki S=Presso
The compact crossover S-Presso also gets a revamp through its modern take on the iconic hatchback SUV. Now with a high ground clearance that suits its tall and powerful stance, the S-Presso boasts a distinct lamp design and signature C-design tail lamps complemented by strong character lines and its muscular front grille. It runs on a fuel-efficient 1.0L K10B engine which is mated with five-speed manual transmission good for conquering concrete and different terrains. It gives ample space passengers and driver space without sacrificing the 239 L luggage capacity. Among other safety features of the vehicle include Suzuki’s Total Effective Control Technology, (TECT) body which mitigates damage during a collision, front-power windows, dual airbags, rear parking assist, and anti-brake locking systems. The S-Presso also includes storage space for bottles and cup-holders and air conditioning that comes with heater control.
The latest S-presso is priced at PHP 518,000.00 and is available in three colors: sizzle orange, fire red, metallic granite gray, and metallic silky silver.
