Suzuki Philippines is celebrating its 50th anniversary in style with the launch of the All-New Suzuki Fronx, a coupe-inspired compact SUV designed to bring “strength and beauty” to the road. Alongside the launch, the company also introduced the XL7 Hybrid Black Edition, giving Filipino families even more stylish and efficient mobility choices.
“For five decades, Suzuki has been part of the Filipino journey—through our motorcycles, automobiles, and marine engines. Guided by our ONE SUZUKI vision, we bring these three businesses together to provide complete mobility solutions. Today, we add another exciting chapter with the launch of the All-New Suzuki Fronx,” said Suzuki Philippines president Koichiro Hirao.

Inspired by Strength and Beauty
The Fronx takes its name and inspiration from the elegance and power of a thoroughbred horse. Designed as a stylish coupe SUV, it blends sophistication with rugged capability. Takashi Yokoyama, chief engineer of the Fronx, explained:
“The Fronx is not only a stylish coupe SUV, but also one that provides the comfort to bring smiles to everyone who rides in it. With ‘strength and beauty’ as our theme, we created a vehicle that shines both in the city and in nature.”

XL7 Hybrid Black Edition

Building on Strong Momentum
From January to August 2025, Suzuki Philippines sold 14,519 units, a 10% year-on-year growth despite an overall industry decline. Norihide Takei, director and GM of SPH’s Automobile Division, expressed confidence in the Fronx and XL7 Hybrid Black Edition continuing this success:
“We are very confident that, with your continued support, the Fronx and the XL7 Hybrid Black Edition will follow this success story and win the hearts of even more Filipino families.”
In his toast, Norminio Mojica, managing director of Suzuki Philippines, emphasized the collaboration that made the launch possible:
“This launch is not only about introducing new vehicles but also about celebrating our enduring partnership with media, banks, and dealers who share our mission.”
Join the FRONX Nationwide Experience
To give Filipinos the chance to see and test the new models firsthand, Suzuki is rolling out the FRONX Nationwide Experience on September 19–20, 2025, with festive showroom activities and test drives at dealerships nationwide.
With its coupe-inspired design, hybrid efficiency, and advanced safety, the All-New Suzuki Fronx signals a bold step forward for Suzuki Philippines—a compact SUV built on strength, beauty, and 50 years of trust.
