In celebration of being named the Motorcycle Trading Capital of the Philippines, Caloocan City threw the inaugural Caloocan Motorcycle Festival last October 22, and Yamaha Motor Philippines, Inc. was in full action.

Taking place along 10th Avenue up to the corner of B. Serrano, the festival saw Yamaha displaying their lineup of bikes, including the Mio Sporty, Mio i 125, Mio Soul i 125, Mio 125 MXi, Bolt, Super Tenere, TMAX, YZF-R1, MT-07, and MT-09. Additionally, the latest Yamaha TFX-150—a bike used during the AT Open, Underbone Open, and Street categories of the Moto Gymkhana competition—was part of the crew as well.

Those who didn’t know how to ride a motorcycle were also included in the celebration thanks to the Yamaha Safe Riding Science Program for Women. Females ages 16 years old and above were taught by Yamaha Certified Instructors in a lecture room on the basics of motorcycle use and road rules before they were given a hands-on tutorial on a specialized track. On top of this, Yamaha Club members were entitled to exclusive items such as a personalized Yamaha Fierce shirt.

Moreover, Yamaha entertained the attendees with performances from the Sassy Girls, TJ Monterde, Ella Cruz, and Rico Blanco.

Yamaha promises to continue supporting the country’s entire riding community through each milestone that the industry will reach.
