Yamaha Motor Philippines continued its 2026 Asia Road Racing Championship (ARRC) campaign at Mobility Resort Motegi in Japan, where the Yamaha Philippines Racing Team competed against some of Asia’s top motorcycle racers. The weekend focused on building experience, refining race strategy, and maintaining momentum in the championship.
Paz delivers another solid finish

Representing the Hong Leong Yamaha Racing Team in the Supersport 600 class, McKinley Kyle Paz followed up his podium finish from the previous round with another consistent performance. He finished ninth in Race 1 before improving to seventh in Race 2, demonstrating his ability to adapt to the technical Motegi circuit.
Mascardo and Rojas gain experience

In the Underbone 150 category, April King Mascardo recorded eighth place in Race 1 before finishing seventh in Race 2. Teammate Timothy Rojas crossed the line in 18th and 20th in the two races, continuing to gain valuable experience against one of the region’s most competitive grids.
Looking ahead

While the team fell short of another podium, the results reflected steady progress as the riders continue to develop on the international stage. Yamaha Philippines now shifts its attention to the succeeding rounds, aiming to build on the lessons learned in Japan.
