    True-to-life colors

    PA32UCDM exceeds industry color standards with 99% DCI-P3 gamut and 10-bit color depth. The OLED panel is able to showcase more than 1.07 billion colors, giving content creators a vast spectrum of colors to work with. 

    Each ProArt display is factory calibrated using a new three-scale process to guarantee industry-leading color fidelity. The display then undergoes stringent testing using advanced ASUS grayscale tracking technology to ensure smooth color gradations, better uniformity, and high color accuracy with a Delta E<1 color difference. Each grayscale level is also carefully measured and set to ensure compliance with the precise DICOM standard for medical use.   

    Intuitive and intelligent calibration

    ProArt Display PA32UCDM is supported by ASUS ProArt Hardware Calibration technology, which saves all color parameter profiles on the monitor’s internal scaler IC chip instead of the PC. The monitor can be calibrated and the look-up table subsequently rewritten, allowing users to connect it to devices with different operating systems or applications, without the need to re-adjust settings.  

    PA32UCDM also supports ProArt Color Center, a web-based hardware calibration tool that allows users to remotely control a group of ProArt monitors from a centralized location. With this tool, calibration schedules and customized color parameters can be set to maintain consistent, professional-level accuracy.

    Epson, a global leader in professional printing, announced the launch of the Epson SureColor P20530 (SC-P20530) Photo Graphic Production Printer, a photo-printing solution designed to meet the needs of professional photographers and graphic designers. An upgrade to its predecessor, the Epson SC-P20070, the all-new SC-P20530 promises increased efficiency and print precision for businesses.

    The global photo printing and merchandise market size is expected to grow at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of approximately 3.2% from 2023 to 2032, with Asia-Pacific witnessing significant growth potential and a rise in demand for sustainable printing practices among consumers. In response to this, the new addition to Epson’s SureColor range is designed to meet the needs of the photo, and graphic arts industry while catering to the market’s shift towards more eco-efficient printing solutions.

    The updated Epson SC-P20530 boasts a wider gamut of colors, deeper black reproduction capabilities, and reduced plastic usage, providing superior print quality and faster print speeds while minimizing overall power consumption and waste production.

    Enhanced Speed and Print Quality with an Expanded Range of Colors

    Featuring an advanced 12-color UltraChrome PRO ink set, including new orange, green, and violet inks, the Epson SC-P20530 delivers a wider array of colors and more accurate reproduction of Pantone colors than the earlier model, allowing for more lifelike and visually appealing prints. The various ink configurations also aid in achieving impeccable print quality for color, black and white prints.

    With two lines added to Epson’s PrecisionCore MicroTFP Printhead to support a wider ink set, the SC-P20530 contains a total of 9,600 nozzles and dedicated channels for photo black, matte black, and various gray inks, empowering a more productive workflow with smoother gradations and accurate texture reproduction. Further, a new Black Enhanced Overcoat (BEO) feature also allows for deeper black reproduction, enabling greater depth and contrast in images without the need for an exclusive ink. 

    With these improvements, the Epson SC-P20530 is capable of producing high-quality prints at a slightly faster speed than its predecessor despite added ink color, allowing businesses to increase their productivity without compromising on quality.

    Sustainability and Efficiency 

    In line with Epson’s commitment to reducing environmental impact, the SC-P20530 is designed with sustainability in mind, drawing on the efficient and precise technologies developed by Epson.

    Using only 22.1 grams of plastic per liter, the new ink pack uses 92.3% less plastic per liter than traditional ink cartridges. The waste from ink packs is 80% lighter and 90% smaller per liter in volume, significantly reducing plastic waste. The printer’s hardware is also made of over 30% recycled plastic.

    Additionally, the life cycle assessment (LCA) of the SC-P20530 shows a 50% reduction in CO2 emissions per liter of ink used compared to traditional ink cartridges, and the printer is compliant with ENERGY STAR Version 3.0 so that the printer reduces power consumption when in sleep mode. Alongside an increased ink capacity of 2.3 times to 1.6 liters and a larger usage ratio of recycled plastics in the printer, the SC-P20530 saves time and cost while ensuring reduced impact on the environment.

    Improved Functionality and Accessibility

    The SC-P20530 boasts a large 4.3-inch touchscreen display, an upgrade from the 2.7-inch hardware button found in the earlier model. Aside from Epson Cloud Solution PORT which provides a one-stop solution that houses the entire printing management system, the addition of Adobe Postscript, which is optional for users, improves the printer’s reproduction of PDF files and raster image processor (RIP) processing ability. Furthermore, the SC-P20530 features an auto take-up system, enhancing the ease of handling large print jobs

    The printer’s wide carriage, measuring 64 inches (1,626mm), offers improved flexible media handling, supporting various media types including basic bond paper, photo paper, transparent film, backlight film roll, and enhanced low adhesive synthetic paper. It also features a high-speed auto-cutter, and is capable of handling roll media via a spindle mounting with integrated tension adjustment.

    Additionally, the SC-P20530 offers enhanced user-self maintenance and stable print quality. This is made possible through easy access to the anti-drying cap and printhead area without the need for a screwdriver, as well as equipped lighting around the printhead to assist with maintenance tasks. The new model also features a dust cover that provides stable operation and reduces wasteful reprinting costs by preventing nozzle clogs and protecting prints from dust. From higher productivity to an enhanced user experience, the SC-P20530 enables businesses to operate more efficiently and effectively.

    Toyota Motor Philippines (TMP) is off to a thrilling 2025 TOYOTA GAZOO Racing Philippine Cup season with the first race weekend of the year. Racing veteran Maila Alivia currently leads the Super Sporting Class, while Jesse Garcia leads in the Sporting Class. Sim racer and Vios Cup Autocross Challenge graduate Luis Moreno, meanwhile, leads the standings in the Novice Class.

    Former Vios Cup racers also battled it out in the Legacy Class sprint races. Notable participants in this race category are Senator JV Ejercito, who won his first Vios Cup race in 2017, and Paolo Ang, who was the 2021 and 2023 Sporting Class runner-up.

    The weekend also saw GR car club members competing in sprint races for the first time in the racing series’ history. Dubbed the Club Race, the event highlighted Toyota’s philosophy of bringing thrill and joy to customers through one-of-a-kind fan experiences. 

    GR performance and Lexus car owners also took to the track their vehicles for the Track Day. Fans of Toyota’s GR lineup and Lexus’ F SPORT series also got to see the vehicles up close at the display area.

    In the activity area, event goers enjoyed freebies and prizes from the sponsors’ booths and got to try their hand at remote control and sim racing. There were also diecast collectibles for sale.

    The highlight of the race weekend remained the circuit races, with Sprint Race 2 applying a reverse grid rule for added excitement. The starting grid was based on the results of Sprint Race 1. For the Novice Class, only P1 to P4 were reversed, putting John Rey San Diego in pole position for Sprint Race 2.

    The Legacy, Sporting and Super Sporting classes reversed the full grid, putting Oliver Estrella in pole position for the Legacy Class, Mike Santos for the Sporting Class, and Iñigo Anton for the Super Sporting Class.

    Car damage relegated Oliver Estrella to the back of the grid, allowing Paolo Ang to take the lead in the Legacy Class. In the Sporting Class, Novice Class graduate Russel Reyes made his way to the front of the pack to take his second sprint win of the season.

    Maila Alivia solidified her position as a championship contender in the Super Sporting Class by winning both sprint races of the weekend, and a top five finish in the endurance race.

    Meanwhile, in the Novice Class, TMP President Masando Hashimoto manage to secure third place after taking advantage of a runoff by Pablo Salapantan, earning him his second podium finish of the weekend.

    Intense wheel-to-wheel action also took place in the Super Sporting Class endurance race as Mikey Jordan and Alain Gabriel Alzona faced off for third place. Jordan’s strong defense proved to be a challenge for Alzona, but Alzona would pull through after persistent overtake attempts.

    Acer once again dominated the Philippine market for consumer and gaming notebooks in 2024, capturing 35.7% of the total market share, according to third-party survey data by GfK. Acer secured a 34.2% market share in the consumer notebook category and a 40.6% market share in the gaming notebook category. This means that one in every three laptops in the Philippines is an Acer.

    Key growth drivers included best-value offerings, extensive sales coverage, and strategic marketing campaigns. Acer’s agility in adapting to the latest trends and leveraging the influence of its brand ambassadors, such as SB19 and G22, resonated with the young target demographic.

    Acer also solidified its market leadership in the gaming category with Predator Gaming.  The brand has always focused on growing the esports community through events like the Asia Pacific Predator League.

    The two-day event aimed to draw Bataan-based TNVS operators and drivers interested in securing one of the slots opened by LTFRB Region III and the Province of Bataan. Xpress is one of the accredited Transport Network Companies (TNC) authorized by the LTFRB and the local government unit (LGU) to provide ride-hailing services in the province.

    Bataan is one of the leading provinces in promoting sustainable and renewable energy and is striving to extend this vision into its transportation sector.
