LIKHA 2025: “Kislap ng Kultura at Malikhaing Diwa” showcases future Lasallian marketers’ support of Cavite’s local enterprises

The (CBAA) at De La Salle University–Dasmariñas (DLSU-D) successfully concluded LIKHA 2025: “Kislap ng Kultura at Malikhaing Diwa,” the fifth edition of its annual culminating event for 4th-year Marketing students. Held on November 28 (Friday), from 1:00–5:00 PM at Bliss & Flair Commercial Building, Greenbreeze Village 1, Barangay Langkaan 2, Dasmariñas, Cavite, this year’s celebration showcased students’ marketing campaigns and commitment to community empowerment through a Filipino fiesta-themed program.

Now in its fifth year, LIKHA continues to bridge academic learning with real-world experience through a Service Learning framework. In partnership with the Office of the Provincial Cooperatives Development Officer (OPCDO), the initiative pairs 4th-year Marketing students with Cavite-based Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), allowing students to serve as marketing communications experts, developing and executing Integrated Marketing Communications campaigns to support their partner MSMEs’ brand presence, market positioning, and community visibility. The event also reinforces DLSU-D’s advocacy for socially responsible marketing under Project HANGO.

Heavenly Chef “The Heavenly Food Creations”: A Taste of Home, Made Healthier

This year, LIKHA 2025: “Kislap ng Kultura at Malikhaing Diwa” placed the spotlight on Heavenly Chef “The Heavenly Food Creations”, a Dasmariñas-based food enterprise founded in 2023 by Mrs. Rosario G. Pelino.

The brand reimagines the Filipino handaan classic, pancit canton, through preservative-free noodles made from real vegetables, including Kalabasa, Malunggay, Remolatsa, and Carrot variants. The business, supported by the OPCDO, has steadily expanded its reach while promoting healthier and more accessible food choices for Filipino families.

Through LIKHA, the brand received a media launch amplified by student-led marketing campaigns, further boosting its visibility in the growing Cavite MSME landscape.

A Meaningful Culmination of Lasallian Service

A major highlight of LIKHA 2025 was the Integrated Marketing Communications (IMC) Competition, where student teams presented their campaigns that blended traditional and digital strategies with interactive exhibits.

This year’s standout achievements included Team Sidlak Strategists (MKA41), which emerged as Overall Champion with their “Pan-see-it to Believe It” campaign that swept multiple categories, namely Best Digital Video, Best Digital Campaign, and Best Traditional Campaign. Meanwhile, Team Tanyag Thinkers (MKA42) earned the Best IMC Plan for their strategically grounded and insight-driven “Heavenly Good For Me” campaign.

Beyond the competition, LIKHA 2025 embodies the Lasallian spirit of faith, service, and communion, empowering students to become catalysts of creativity and compassion in the real world. By supporting Heavenly Chef “The Heavenly Food Creations” and engaging directly with Cavite’s local entrepreneurs, students not only strengthened their professional capabilities but also contributed meaningfully to the development and visibility of Cavite’s MSME sector.

Streets and social media abuzz with ‘Tapat Sa’yo’ sticker craze

Ever noticed a “Tapat Sa’yo” sticker on the vehicle ahead of you?

From highways to parking lots and even on social media, the Tapat Sa’yo sticker is everywhere—sparking curiosity and conversations among road users.

Online, some netizens have turned their interest into a fun game of seeing how many stickers they can spot on the road. Naturally, people are asking: Ano kaya ibig sabihin ng sticker na iyon?

Initially, the sticker looks nothing more than a “pick-up” line. But as more of it appeared on the road, the questions followed: Whose slogan is this? Is it political? Or a car club?

The Tapat Sa’yo sticker is a game-changing initiative by industry leader, Petron Corporation.

Far from being just a gimmick or conversation starter, the sticker is a token of appreciation, recognizing loyal Petron customers. What makes it even more special is that it unlocks “surprise perks” — the most notable being a PHP5-per-liter fuel discount that has delighted many drivers.

The rising presence of the Tapat Sa’yo sticker on the road has even led to more and more motorists fondly referring to themselves as the Tapat Sa’yo Club. For many motorists, seeing the sticker feels like encountering another Petron customer who also recognizes the value of a good deal.

Getting the Tapat Sa’yo sticker is simple. Just fuel up at participating Petron stations, present your Petron Value Card, and get your own sticker. Take note, though, that stocks run out quickly due to high demand.

Whether the PHP5-per-liter discount or additional perks will continue remains to be seen. What is certain is that the growing number of vehicles displaying the sticker reflects a positive reception and continued optimism for more rewards.

The Tapat Sa’yo sticker stands as a symbol of loyalty, connection, and the meaningful rewards that come with being a Petron customer.

The question is: Are you part of the Tapat Sa’yo Club?

Zootopia 2 is basically a crash course in modern virtues—Here’s what it teaches us

Zootopia 2 is basically a crash course in modern virtues, and you can’t convince me otherwise. It teaches both kids and adults about trust, courage, empathy, and the importance of understanding the world around us, all without ever feeling preachy.

Here’s some cool stuff I took from this cute talking-animal sequel. (Spoiler ahead!)

    1. You won’t feel heroic every day, and you don’t have to.

Putting yourself first isn’t selfish. It’s survival. Zootopia 2 subtly reminds audiences that not everyone wakes up wanting to save the world. Nick Wilde embodies the quiet truth that not all forms of bravery look like running toward danger. Sometimes bravery is simply choosing to protect your peace, maintain your boundaries, or keep yourself emotionally safe before extending yourself to others.

The movie frames self-preservation not as cowardice, but as a valid response to an overwhelming world. This teaches kids that emotional burnout is real, and teaches adults that they shouldn’t shame themselves for not being “on” all the time.

    Zootopia 2
Gazelle (voiced by Shakira) in Walt Disney Animation’s ZOOTOPIA 2. From the Oscar-winning team of Disney Animation chief creative officer Jared Bush and Byron Howard (directors) and Yvett Merino (producer), “Zootopia 2” releases in theaters Nov. 26, 2025. © 2025 Disney Enterprises, Inc. All Rights Reserved.”

    2. But some people are meant to be heroic. Let them.

Judy Hopps represents the people who genuinely thrive in service, leadership, and stepping up when others can’t. Not everyone is built like that, and Zootopia 2 honors the contrast that both the quiet survivor and the loud hero are necessary in a functioning society.
This becomes a modern empathy lesson: Don’t resent the helpers. Don’t pressure the healers. Let people lean into their strengths. Instead of comparing yourself to the Judys of your life, let their calling complement your own limits.

    3. Just because people look like something, doesn’t mean they are that something.

Gary De’Snake  becomes the perfect “don’t-judge-by-stereotype” character. Snakes are usually framed as villains, that they’re sneaky, unreliable, and dangerous. But Gary challenges that default assumption. The film uses him to show that identity should never be reduced to species, looks, past labels, or collective behavior. This mirrors how real life works. The world gives people categories before giving them chances.

Zootopia 2’s message? See the individual before the stereotype. Empathy starts with unlearning the shortcuts your brain wants to take.

Gary De’Snake (voiced by Ke Huy Quan) in Walt Disney Animation’s ZOOTOPIA 2. From the Oscar-winning team of Disney Animation chief creative officer Jared Bush and Byron Howard (directors) and Yvett Merino (producer), “Zootopia 2” releases in theaters Nov. 26, 2025. © 2025 Disney Enterprises, Inc. All Rights Reserved.”

    4. The people meant for your journey will recognize your values — build with them.

In the movie, characters gravitate toward others who share their ideals, their sense of justice, or their personal boundaries. It’s a reminder that in real life, too, aligned values build stronger alliances. When you meet people whose moral compass points to the same truth as yours, protect them, grow with them, and trust the partnership. Not everyone will understand your principles. Not everyone has to. But those who do? They make the world less lonely and the mission more possible.

    5. Trusting is beautiful, but never not consider betrayal

Empathy isn’t naivety. Zootopia 2 acknowledges a darker truth that betrayal is always a real possibility.

Pawbert’s betrayal is one of the film’s most emotionally charged lessons. He isn’t malicious. He sacrifices a friend for family validation. The film teaches that betrayal doesn’t always come from ill intent.  This doesn’t mean you turn cynical. It means you stay anchored in reality.
Trust people, but keep a sense of discernment. Hope for honesty, but don’t erase the possibility of deceit. It’s a balanced, modern lesson for kids and especially for adults who’ve been hurt:
You can still be kind without being gullible.

    6. History matters so never tolerate the erasure of it. Question the system

The film subtly shows how communities change when they forget what shaped them. Progress doesn’t come from abandoning the past but from understanding it deeply. Every stereotype had a beginning. Every fear had a source. Every division has historical roots. Gary’s grandmother contributed innovative ideas that were stolen by others, a subtle but powerful lesson that erasing history is erasing accountability.

Zootopia 2 reminds viewers that you can’t build a better future if you don’t study the mistakes, victories, and truths that came before you. The ultimate empathy lesson is clear: to understand people today, learn the stories of yesterday.

    7. Add a Chill but Clever Nerd to Your Friend List

Nibbles Maplestick might not sprint into danger like Judy or scheme like Nick, but that’s exactly why he’s invaluable. He’s chill, clever, and quietly brilliant, the kind of friend who notices the tiny details everyone else overlooks and drops insights at just the right moment. In a world that celebrates loud heroes and flashy moves, Nibbles shows that you don’t need to roar to be powerful.

Life is better when you have a Nibbles in your corner. The calm thinker, the nerd who quietly masters the rules, the friend who supports you without drama. They balance out the chaos, make smarter decisions possible, and sometimes save the day in ways no one else sees. Kids learn that brilliance comes in all sizes, and adults are reminded to value the unsung geniuses in their own lives.

Did you catch these lessons too? Which characters hit different for you? Zootopia 2 isn’t just cute talking animals and laughs, it’s lowkey a movie that makes you think about life on your ride home… yeah, even after a “kids’ movie.

Kaspersky: financial sector faced AI, blockchain and organized crime threats in 2025

Kaspersky launches its 2025 Security Bulletin, which reviews the major cybersecurity trends of the past year and offers a look towards the future. The first KSB is dedicated to cybersecurity in the financial sector, providing an overview of major cases, key trends, and evolving threats. This year, the financial sector navigated a rapidly evolving cyber landscape, with malware spreading through messaging apps, AI-assisted attacks, supply chain compromises, and NFC-based fraud.

2025 financial sector cybersecurity in figures

    • 8,15% of users faced online threats in the finance sector
    • 15,81% of users in the finance sector faced local threats
    • 12.8% of B2B finance sector companies faced ransomware this year
    • 35.7% more unique users in the finance sector encountered ransomware detections in 2025 compared to 2023
    • 1,338,357 banking trojan attacks were detected this year

Cybersecurity trends and cases shaping the financial sector in 2025

Large-scale supply chain attacks: the financial sector faced a series of unprecedented supply chain attacks, which are incidents that exploit vulnerabilities in third-party providers to reach their primary targets. The breaches demonstrated how vulnerabilities in third-party providers can cascade through national payment networks, affecting even central systems.

Organized crime converging with cybercrime: organized crime is increasingly combining physical and digital methods, creating more sophisticated and coordinated attacks. Financial institutions faced threats that blend social engineering, insider manipulation, and technical exploitation.

Old malware, new channels: cybercriminals increasingly exploit popular messaging apps to spread malware, shifting from email phishing to social channels. Banking trojans are being rewritten to use messaging platforms as a new distribution vector, enabling large-scale infections.

AI scales malware to new heights: this year, AI-enabled malware has increasingly incorporated automated propagation and evasion techniques, allowing attacks to spread faster and reach a larger number of targets. This automation also shortens the time between malware creation and deployment.

Mobile banking attacks and NFC fraud: Android malware using ATS (Automated Transfer System) techniques automate fraudulent transactions, altering transfer amounts and recipients in real time without the user noticing. NFC-based attacks have also emerged as a key trend, enabling both physical fraud in crowded places and remote fraud via social engineering and fake apps mimicking trusted banks.

Blockchain-Based C2 Infrastructure is on the rise: crimeware attackers increasingly embed malware commands in blockchain smart contracts, targeting Web3 to steal cryptocurrencies. This method ensures persistence and makes the infrastructure extremely difficult to remove. Using blockchain for C2 operations allows attackers to maintain control even if conventional servers are shut down, highlighting a new level of resilience in cyberattacks.

Ransomware presence: these type of attacks remained a persistent threat for the financial sector across most regions this year. Worldwide 12.8% of B2B finance organizations were affected by ransomware, with 12.9% in Africa, 12.6% in Latin America, and 9.4% in Russia & CIS (KSN Data, November 2024 through October 2025).

Disappearance of certain malware families: some malware families are likely to disappear, as their activity depends directly on the operations of specific criminal groups.

“In 2025, financial cyber threats evolved into a complex landscape, with attacks hitting businesses and end users alike. Criminal groups increasingly combined digital tools, insider access, AI and blockchain to scale operations, forcing organizations to secure not only their systems but also the human networks that support them,” said Fabio Assolini, Head of the Americas & Europe units at Kaspersky GReAT.

Predictions: what finance cybersecurity might face in 2026

1 – Banking Trojans will be rewritten for WhatsApp distribution: criminal groups will increasingly rewrite and scale banking trojans distribution and abuse messaging apps like WhatsApp to target corporate and government organizations that still rely on desktop-based online banking. These environments are where Windows-based banking trojans thrive.

2 – Growth of deepfake/AI services for social engineering: the trade in realistic deepfakes and AI-powered campaigns is expected to expand even more, fueling scams around job interviews and offers, driving underground demand for tools that fully bypass KYC verification.

3 – Appearance of regional info stealers: as Lumma, Redline and other stealers are still active, we expect to see the appearance of regional info stealers, targeting specific countries or regions, expanding the use of MaaS model.
4 – More attacks on NFC payments: as a key technology used in payments, we’ll see more tools, more malware and attacks directed against NFC payments, in all types.

5 – The advent of Agentic AI malware: agentic AI malware is characterized by its ability to dynamically alter behavior mid-execution. Unlike conventional malware that relies on pre-defined instructions, agentic variants are designed to assess their environment, analyze their impact, and adapt their tactics on the fly. This means that a single piece of malware could exhibit a range of behaviors, from initial infiltration to data exfiltration or system disruption, all in response to the specific defenses and vulnerabilities it encounters.

6 – Classic fraud will obtain new delivery: fraud will remain a major threat to end users, but its delivery methods will keep evolving. As new services and messaging platforms emerge, attackers will continue to adapt their tactics to the channels where their target audience is most active.

8 – The persistence of ‘out of box’, pre-infected devices: the threat of counterfeit smart devices sold already infected with trojans (such as Triada) will continue to evolve. These trojans often come with extensive capabilities, including the ability to steal banking credentials, and affect not only “gray” Android smartphones but also other smart devices such as TVs.

    Kaspersky

Kaspersky experts recommend the following to keep safe:

    • Download apps only from official stores and verify developer authenticity.
    • Disable NFC when not in use, and utilize wallets that block unauthorized communication.
    • Monitor accounts and transactions regularly for suspicious activity.
    • Protect your financial transactions by adopting Kaspersky Premium with the Safe Money feature, which verifies the authenticity of known online payment systems and banking websites.

Financial organizations can embrace an ecosystem-based cybersecurity strategy that unites people, processes, and technology:

    • Step 1: Assess the entire infrastructure, fix vulnerabilities, and consider external specialists for fresh perspectives that reveal concealed risks.
    • Step 2: Deploy integrated platforms to monitor and control all attack vectors with rapid detection and swift response across the organization. Solutions from the Kaspersky Next product line can help with this goal, as they provide real-time protection, threat visibility, investigation, and EDR/XDR capabilities scalable to organizations of any size and in any industry.
    • Step 3: Stay current with the threat landscape using Kaspersky threat intelligence and analytics, run regular awareness training to build a human firewall that recognizes threats and enforces security policies.

Tu-My Tran, Head of Sustainable Mobility at the ICLEI World Secretariat, shares key highlights from the SPARK project implementation.

Tu-My Tran, Head of Sustainable Mobility at the ICLEI World Secretariat, presented the project’s outcomes and ways forward for scaling up and replicating SPARK’s successes.

Key SPARK Project activities included baseline assessments to understand each city’s active mobility context; community engagement through participatory design workshops and volunteer activities; and capacity-building for local government staff and stakeholders on people-centered planning and implementation. These efforts culminated in a three-month implementation of tactical urbanism interventions Maginhawa Street, Quezon City and A. Mabini Street, Pasig City, which transformed the streets with short-term, temporary installations such as street murals and street furniture that served as pedestrian and cycling infrastructure.

Eco-Counter devices were also turned over to Quezon City and Pasig City through the SPARK project to support the collection of pedestrian and cyclist data in four sites in each city to guide future active mobility initiatives.

Karen Crisostomo, Active Transport Specialist of the Pasig City Transportation Development and Management Office, shared reflections on the city’s experience implementing the SPARK project. She emphasized the importance of a mindset shift in transforming car-centric cities into more walkable, bikeable, and livable cities.

Alberto H. Kimpo, Assistant City Administrator for Operations of Quezon City

For Quezon City, Assistant City Administrator for Operations Alberto H. Kimpo said in his welcome message that innovations that aim to shift away from car-centricism can be challenging as they push back on longstanding tradition and the status quo, but such efforts are important to meet the demands of changing times, especially when they are informed by responses from local communities and relevant stakeholders.

Key implementing partners of the SPARK project, including civil society groups, were also recognized during the event.

Representatives of the Abot-Kamay ng mga may Kapansanan ang Pag-unlad ng Pasigueño (AKKAPP) Pasig Federation, 350 Bike Squad, Make It Safer Movement (MISMO), and the Pinay Bike Commuter Community talked about how the project gave them opportunities to actively participate in planning and designing more inclusive and accessible streets for pedestrians and cyclists of diverse backgrounds; reclaim streets for communities and culture; and inspire other initiatives with goals similar to the project.

The culminating event also included an internal meeting among ICLEI, ICSC, and members of the National Project Advisory Group (NPAG) for the SPARK project to discuss how the project’s active mobility efforts can be sustained.

The NPAG includes representatives of the Quezon City and Pasig City governments, the Metro Manila Development Authority (MMDA), and the following national agencies: Department of Transportation (DOTr), Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development (DHSUD), Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH), Department of Economy, Planning, and Development (DEPDev), and the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG).

The SPARK project’s culminating event saw participants sharing ideas on how to make active mobility thrive in the Philippines, as well as expressing their championship of active mobility in a ceremonial commitment wall. Mio Fazzio × DBTK: Where style meets the ride

Yamaha Motor Philippines and streetwear brand Don’t Blame the Kids (DBTK) have teamed up once again to celebrate style, identity, and self-expression — all through the lens of the Yamaha Mio Fazzio. Their third collaboration brings together fashion and mobility in a way that resonates deeply with Gen Z riders, who see both their wardrobe and their wheels as extensions of who they are.

    A Scooter Made for Self-Expression

For today’s young riders, looking good is part of moving well. Whether it’s oversized streetwear, clean pastel palettes, or monochrome essentials, Gen Z gravitates toward pieces that communicate personality. The Mio Fazzio slots naturally into that lifestyle with its minimalist silhouette, adaptable colorways, and modern design that pairs effortlessly with any aesthetic. It’s a scooter that blends in when you want subtle style — and stands out when you want a statement.

This expressive DNA is what makes the Fazzio the perfect anchor for the #StartYOUniqueness mindset. It’s made for riders who curate their daily look, shift styles often, and value mobility that feels personal.

    Fashion Inspired by the Ride

The latest DBTK collaboration brings that connection to life through a full capsule of shirts, sweaters, windbreakers, and workwear — each one inspired by the Fazzio’s familiar color story. Signature shades like Pastel Green, Ivory White, and Black translate into wearable pieces that mirror the scooter’s aesthetic. On the runway, the models’ movement and energy echoed the Fazzio’s youthful personality, highlighting the scooter not just as a mode of transport, but as part of the lifestyle Gen Z builds every day.

    • Mio Fazzio

A Shared Vision for Gen Z Mobility

Genshin Impact Version Luna III celebrates Moon-Prayer Night and the arrival of Durin on December 3

Global interactive entertainment brand HoYoverse announced that Genshin Impact Version Luna III, Song of the Welkin Moon: Interlude — “A Nocturne of the Far North,” will be available on December 3, 2025. The story of Nod-Krai continues as the region prepares for “Moon-Prayer Night,” a grand festival that also marks the Dameselette’s final night before her journey to the moon. Besides the celebration, Durin, the newborn dragon, makes his debut as a playable character, displaying his dual forms in battle. Players can also unlock new abilities for Durin and other “Hexerei characters” by completing special quests related to the Hexenzirkel.

Check out Genshin Impact Version Luna III trailer here:

After the defeat of Rächer of Solnari, Nasha Town comes back alive with the lively atmosphere of Moon-Prayer Night. Players are invited to enjoy the celebration, explore various game stalls, and record their memories in a souvenir stamp book, savoring precious moments before the Dameselette returns to the moon. During the celebration, unexpected guests show up — the Hexenzirkel has arrived. Alice, Klee’s mother, and Nicole Reeyn, who previously guided the player in understanding Fontaine’s prophecy, finally reveal themselves with alarming news: Teyvat’s borders are becoming unstable, and strange “phantoms” are appearing across Nod-Krai. Players will join Albedo, Durin, and the Wanderer in uncovering the mystery behind them. Completing this latest Archon Quest will also grant Primogems ×500 for a limited time.

    Version Luna

Another highlight is Durin, a 5-star Pyro Sword wielder who possesses two distinctly different combat forms, and can be served either as a team support or a strong damage dealer. Once a dragon from the fairytale world of Simulanka, Durin was later granted a human body through Albedo’s alchemy and the transfer of the dragon Durin’s heart energy. This unique origin grants Durin dual powers: One reflects the pure soul of Simulanka, supporting the team by reducing enemies’ Elemental Resistance and dealing AoE Pyro DMG. The other is imbued with Abyssal energy, excelling at unleashing devastating attacks on single targets and boosting his own Vaporize and Melt reaction DMG. Completing Durin’s Story Quest will reveal more secrets about the dragon and Hexenzirkel, and gain a special reward for Durin.

Version Luna III also introduces a major update featuring “Hexerei characters,” enhancing certain characters closely connected to the Hexenzirkel. By completing Alice’s “Witch’s Homework”, Durin, Venti, Klee, Albedo, Mona, Razor, Fischl, and Sucrose can become Hexerei characters. Each quest unfolds a unique story for the respective character, granting them special abilities and changing their Constellation effects. Additionally, if the party has at least two Hexerei characters, “Hexerei: Secret Rite” effect will be unlocked, significantly boosting the party’s combat capabilities. For example, Venti, the Anemo Archon with a deep connection to the Hexenzirkel, will regain his once-hidden power after completing the quest. When his Stormeye is active, his Normal Attack will be transformed into powerful “Windsunder Arrows” that can pierce enemies and have a chance to further extend the Duration of his Stormeye. Players can view the full enhancement details in the new gadget “The Little Witch’s Dictionary.” After completing the prerequisite quest, players can freely invite Razor, Fischl, or Sucrose to their party.

Jahoda, the new 4-star Anemo Bow wielder, joins the adventure as well, showcasing her exceptional talents in team-healing and absorbing Elements to deal corresponding DMG. For Event Wishes in Version Luna III, the first phase will feature the debut of Durin and Jahoda and Venti’s return, and the second phase will bring back Varesa and Xilonen.

    Version Luna

More activities and events will be available in Version Luna III. The event “Soulblazers’ Snowbound Journey” will bring players back to Dragonspine, where they can experience with winter-themed minigames and earn rewards, including an exclusive 4-star weapon “Rainbow Serpent’s Rain Bow,” Primogems, and more. Back in Nod-Krai, more stories and interactions with the Dameselette await players in Silvermoon Hall. Additionally, the Envisage Echoes challenges will be updated, adding Klee’s and Albedo’s echoes as rewards.

The UGC gameplay module Miliastra Wonderland will also receive brand-new updates in Version Luna III. The new “Wonderland Resource Center” allows Craftspeople to freely share and obtain resources and creative content via the editing tool. More rewards can be unlocked in this version, including fun actions, expressions, and free pulls. In addition, a winter-themed Main Hall will also be available to players during this version.

Genshin Impact Version Luna III celebrates Moon-Prayer Night and the arrival of Durin on December 3, 2025. With cross-progression and Co-Op functions, players can enjoy their adventure across PlayStation®, Xbox, PC, Android, and iOS. The game has been rated T for Teen by ESRB on PS5, Xbox, PC, and Google Play, and 12+ on iOS. Step back into the world of ‘Zootopia 2’ – now showing in cinemas nationwide!

Our favorite partners-in-crime from the wild are back: Walt Disney Animation Studios is bringing audiences back to the bustling world of Zootopia with a highly anticipated sequel that takes kids and kids-at-heart on an all-new thrilling chase in cinemas starting November 26, 2025.

Directors Jared Bush and Byron Howard are bringing the animal gang back together for Zootopia 2, expanding the vibrant city with new friends, foes, and fun adventures. Ginnifer Goodwin and Jason Bateman lead the star-studded cast as they reprise their roles as the beloved duo of Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde, with Academy Award Winner Ke Huy Quan joining the ensemble as the voice of the new character, Gary de’Snake.

    Zootopia 2
UNRAVELED – In Walt Disney Animation Studios’ “Zootopia 2,” rookie cops Judy Hopps (voice of Ginnifer Goodwin) and Nick Wilde (voice of Jason Bateman), who find themselves unraveling a mystery alongside a snake called Gary De’Snake (voice of Ke Huy Quan). The second chapter of the film – which features 178 unique characters representing 67 different species to be voiced by renowned actors – picks up from Judy and Nick navigating their new police-partners dynamic, and discovering new things about each other in the process.

Audiences can expect the typical Disney storytelling magic to unravel in Judy and Nick’s unique narrative, as they work through their differences, re-discover their strengths as partners, and take on the twisting trail of a great mystery when Gary De’Snake arrives in Zootopia and turns the animal metropolis upside down.

Better Zoogether: Judy and Nick take their partnership to the next level

Taking Judy and Nick’s partnership to the next level, centering on the film’s theme of ‘partnership’, director Byron Howard describes their dynamic as “like when new friends share an apartment together, and they start to figure out things like, ‘Oh, you don’t do dishes,’ and ‘You don’t return phone calls.’ There are things they’re learning about each other that are definitely new.”

Co-director Jared Bush then shares how the duos’ relationship relates to how we try to resolve our differences saying “Their relationship really touches on how our differences can feel like obstacles, but sometimes simple conversations can actually push through those obstacles. Sometimes, the simplest thing is trying to make a connection.”

    Introducing Gary De’snake

Gary De’Snake (voiced by Ke Huy Quan) in Walt Disney Animation’s ZOOTOPIA 2. Apart from Nick and Judy’s journey of re-discovering their relationship, ‘Zootopia 2’ also introduces a new character, Gary de’ Snake, a sweet, loveable – and super venomous – pit viper on a mission to restore his family’s good name by solving a Zootopian mystery decades in the making. To crack the case, Judy and Nick must go undercover to unexpected new parts of the city.

Fans will note that snakes have always played a part in previous Disney Animation features with roles as villains or as minor characters, but it’s never been part of the lead protagonist cast, nor has one been animated by the studio in CG.

Which is why the animation team behind Gary de’Snake put hours of effort and thought into making his character as realistic, yet as relatable and loveable as possible.

“Our goal was to make Gary interesting, funny and someone audiences could relate to. Snakes can be scary and seem off-putting, but we wanted to break through and not have that be the case,” said Gary’s animation supervisor, Adam Green.

    The all-new anthem “Zoo”

Gazelle (voiced by Shakira) in Walt Disney Animation’s ZOOTOPIA 2. Apart from lovable and relatable characters that will be met upon entering the animal metropolis again, ‘Zootopia 2’ won’t be complete without another hit anthem. The team once again partnered with Shakira who will be reprising her role as Gazelle and singing the all-new original song “Zoo” co-created with GRAMMY® Award winners Ed Sheeran and Blake Slatkin.

A whole lot of new fun and mystery uncoils in the city of Zootopia – all while retaining the relatable humor and experiences that captured the hearts of many, as moviegoers hop on back to the metropolis. Don’t miss out on a chase filled with laughter, lessons, and a whole lot of love as ‘Zootopia 2’ opens in cinemas nationwide, available in IMAX, 4DX, and Screen X!
