Logitech G is pushing deeper into the enthusiast gaming and custom keyboard space with the launch of the new G512 X TMR Analog/Mechanical Gaming Keyboard.

Designed around modular customization, analog precision, and ultra-fast response times, the G512 X introduces a more adaptable approach to gaming keyboards by allowing players to tune hardware behavior based on personal playstyles and competitive needs.

Available in both 75 and 98 layouts, the keyboard combines analog and mechanical switch support, customizable actuation points, advanced RGB lighting, and 8K performance technologies in a platform aimed at both esports players and PC modding enthusiasts.

Designed for personalized gaming performance

Logitech G said the G512 X was developed around the idea that gaming setups should evolve alongside players rather than remain fixed hardware configurations.

The keyboard integrates Tunnel Magneto Resistance (TMR) sensor technology, allowing keypresses to register varying levels of input depth instead of functioning as simple binary on/off switches. This enables more nuanced control for genres such as racing simulators, flight simulators, and tactical shooters where precision movement and variable actuation can provide a gameplay advantage.

“At Logitech G, we see a player’s setup as something that grows with them as they improve,” said Ujesh Desai, vice president and general manager of Logitech G.

“With the G512 X, we combine craftsmanship with performance. This keyboard isn’t just a tool — it’s an extension of the gamer, giving you the control and precision to play at your best,” Desai added.

Dual Swap technology and analog control

One of the keyboard’s headline features is its Dual Swap capability, allowing users to mix analog and mechanical switches across 39 hybrid TMR switch beds. The keyboard supports most popular analog and 3-pin or 5-pin mechanical switches, giving enthusiasts wider flexibility for custom tuning.

Logitech G ships the keyboard with nine Gateron KS-20 magnetic analog switches that can be assigned to commonly used gaming controls such as WASD movement keys. The keyboard also supports SAPP (Second Actuation Pressure Point) Rings, enabling players to assign two different actions to a single keypress depending on how deeply a key is pressed. For example, a light press can equip a grenade while a deeper press triggers the throw command.

Through Logitech G HUB software, users can customize actuation depths and map multiple command layers to individual keys.

True 8K performance and customizable controls

The G512 X also introduces Logitech G’s True 8K performance architecture with an end-to-end latency of 0.125 milliseconds. The system combines 8K polling, reporting, and processing rates to improve responsiveness and precision during fast-paced gameplay.

Additional hardware customization comes through dual programmable dials that can be assigned to different controls and shortcuts. The keyboard also features a bold RGB lightbar with rhythmic slash patterns and customizable lighting sequences designed to complement gaming setups.

For longer gaming sessions, users may also pair the keyboard with an optional acrylic palm rest available separately for both layout variants.

Built for enthusiasts and ecosystem integration

The rear section of the G512 X includes integrated storage compartments for switch pullers, magnetic analog switches, and SAPP rings to support easier hardware customization.

The keyboard is available in black and white variants and is designed to pair with Logitech G’s latest G5 Series peripherals, including the G502 X Plus LIGHTSPEED wireless gaming mouse and the G522 LIGHTSPEED wireless gaming headset.

“The G512 X is our love letter to the gamers who mod their gear as much as they mod their games,” said SM Lahti, global product marketing manager at Logitech G. “It’s a design that pushes the entire industry forward, fundamentally changing the way gamers can interact with their gear and play their favorite titles,” he added.

The Logitech G512 X is priced at PHP11,995 for the 75-key layout and PHP12,995 for the 98-key layout.
