Aside from the high-end XPS 14, Dell also introduced another ultrabook in the market today – the relatively cheaper Inspiron 14z. The Inspiron 14z still has some of the unique design aspects that’s evident in the more luxurious and expensive brother. While it still has the same brushed metal finish on the lid, the Inspiron 14z has a more plastic design inside. It has the same island-style keys as the XPS 14, but we noticed a great deal of flex on the plastic base of the keyboard, something that may not sit well with some people. It’s also a bit chunkier  than your usual ultrabook, but tradeoff there is that you also get a optical disk drive with the purchase. The Inspiron 14z has a 14-inch, 200-nit 1366×768 display. Internally, you’re looking at a 3rd Generation Core i5-3317U (2.6GHz) along with 4GB of DDR3 and a hybrid storage setup composed of a 32GB mSATA SSD drive and a 500GB HDD drive. The Inspiron 14z retails for Php 44,900.
