EY Global Delivery Services Philippines is marking its 11th anniversary and plans to add approximately 2,000 professionals over the next two to three years, expanding its Manila and Cebu operations.
Since its establishment in 2015, EY GDS Philippines has grown to more than 6,000 professionals supporting EY member firms and clients worldwide across assurance, consulting, tax, and core business services. The next phase is expected to bring stronger demand for assurance and technology consulting alongside continued expansion in artificial intelligence, data, cybersecurity, digital engineering, enterprise platforms, and other technology-focused capabilities.
Growing Manila and Cebu operations
“EY GDS Philippines has evolved into a leading talent, delivery and innovation hub since its establishment 11 years ago,” said Dench Decino, EY GDS Philippines location leader.
“In the next two to three years, we will continue to invest in Filipino talent as we plan to add approximately 2,000 professionals. We believe the Philippines will continue to play an important role in the EY network and in the country’s professional services and technology ecosystem.”
Cebu is playing a growing role in that expansion. EY GDS Philippines recently launched its Cebu Cybersecurity center, strengthening its regional capabilities in cybersecurity and digital services while creating additional technology-focused roles.
Building a future-ready talent pipeline
The hiring plans are being supported by a parallel push to develop skills through university and industry partnerships.
Through its GDS Academia program, EY GDS Philippines works with universities in Metro Manila and Cebu to connect classroom learning with business and technology skills. The organization’s industry-academe initiatives were also recognized at the 2026 Cebu IT-BPM Organization Industry Awards, where it received the Industry-Academe Partnership Excellence award.
The company is also continuing to invest in professional development, leadership formation, inclusion, and future-ready skills for its existing workforce.
Assurance to play a major role in hiring
Assurance is expected to be one of the service lines contributing significantly to the next phase of recruitment.

“As we accelerate hiring, we are focused on the capabilities the next generation of assurance professionals will need, including data, analytics and AI-enabled skills.”
That emphasis reflects the broader shift in professional services, where technology skills are increasingly being integrated into traditional areas such as assurance and consulting.

Alongside assurance, EY GDS Philippines expects continued growth in areas including AI, data, cybersecurity, digital engineering, enterprise platforms, and technology consulting.
The combination of additional hiring, the Cebu cybersecurity expansion, and university partnerships points to a broader strategy centered on building a deeper pool of Filipino professionals for technology-enabled global delivery work.
