Artificial intelligence is becoming more accessible to businesses, but successful enterprise AI adoption depends less on the technology itself and more on how organizations implement it. That was the key message shared by TP in the Philippines during the recent GenAI Summit Philippines 2026, where the company highlighted how operational expertise and execution can determine whether AI delivers measurable business value.

Vishnu Raj, vice president for AI at TP in the Philippines, said many organizations now have access to the same enterprise AI models and platforms but often lack the operational maturity and orchestration capabilities needed to translate AI investments into tangible business outcomes.

“Everyone has access to the same technologies today, but not everyone has the same processes and expertise,” Raj said during his presentation. “The real differentiator is orchestration intelligence. At TP, we have decades of domain expertise, and rich and deep experience in AI, both in deployment and optimization, to maximize value in every customer interaction. Our orchestration capabilities ensure that AI isn’t just a tool, but a driver of specific business outcomes.”

According to Raj, TP’s long-standing customer experience expertise enables the company to identify where enterprise AI can create the greatest value throughout the customer journey while ensuring seamless collaboration between automation and human support.

From AI Experimentation to Business Execution

A key highlight of the presentation was a live demonstration of an AI agent capable of identifying customer requests, authenticating customers, performing troubleshooting, identifying upsell and cross-sell opportunities, making appropriate recommendations, and escalating cases to human representatives when necessary.

The solution is powered by TP’s proprietary Foundational AI Backbone framework, which orchestrates AI agents alongside human agents to deliver a unified customer experience. Raj demonstrated how TP combines autonomous AI agents, large language models, machine learning systems, and customer relationship management (CRM) integrations to deliver end-to-end customer support at enterprise scale.

“We work closely with the people on the production floor, the agents, quality analysts, and subject matter experts who understand customer concerns deeply,” Raj said. “That operational knowledge is critical in identifying where AI can deliver the greatest value, including the objective of reducing the total cost of operations.”

A Phased Approach to AI Adoption

Raj also outlined TP’s phased approach to AI deployment, beginning with high-volume, lower-complexity customer interactions before expanding into more advanced use cases. This approach enables organizations to demonstrate return on investment earlier while creating a foundation for broader AI adoption as operational confidence grows. He also emphasized that human oversight remains essential in complex and sensitive customer interactions, where empathy, judgment, and contextual understanding continue to play important roles.

Through decades of AI expertise and ongoing innovation, TP continues to strengthen its position in digital transformation, helping organizations deliver customer experiences that are simpler, faster, and safer.

The annual GenAI Summit Philippines brings together industry leaders, innovators, and enterprises to discuss emerging developments, practical use cases, and opportunities shaping the future of generative AI.
