Infinix has introduced the HOT 70 Series, combining a refreshed design, AI-powered productivity features, long battery life, and enhanced durability in a smartphone lineup priced below PHP10,000.
The HOT 70 Series introduces Infinix’s new Dynamic Shine Design, offering six color options and a slimmer profile for users in the market for a smartphone that balances everyday performance with personal style.
A refreshed design
The HOT 70 measures 7.49mm thin and weighs 195g, featuring a Pearl-Smooth coating designed to resist fingerprints during daily use. Buyers can choose from six finishes, including Thermo Orange, Quiet Violet, Green Texture, Night Pulse, Silver Dancer, and Dive Blue.
The standout Thermo Orange edition uses a thermochromic back panel that changes shade depending on temperature, while Quiet Violet and Green Texture feature light-reactive finishes that create shifting patterns as the phone is tilted. A Crystal Mood Island camera surround adds a decorative element to the rear camera module.
One-tap access to AI tools
The HOT 70 introduces a dedicated One-Tap AI Button that provides quick access to several AI-powered features without navigating through menus.
A short press activates AI FlashMemo, which can recognize information displayed on screen and perform contextual actions such as creating calendar events, saving contacts from business cards, or preparing an email draft. Captured content is automatically organized in AI MindHub, where screenshots, notes, and other saved items are categorized for easier retrieval.
Holding the button launches Folax AI, which provides access to multiple AI models, including ChatGPT and Google Gemini, allowing users to compare responses without leaving the current app. Additional AI features include customizable wallpapers, AI Live Photo Mode, AI Eraser, and AI Extender for photo editing.
Battery and everyday performance
The HOT 70 is equipped with a 6,000mAh battery paired with 45W fast charging, which can fully recharge the device in about an hour under laboratory conditions. An All-Scenario Bypass Charging feature directs power to the phone rather than the battery during demanding tasks to help manage heat during charging.
The device features a 6.78-inch display with a 120Hz refresh rate and up to 700nits of high-brightness mode, making it easier to view content outdoors. Powering the phone is the MediaTek Helio G100 Ultimate processor, designed to support everyday multitasking, streaming, and gaming.
Built for daily use
Durability is another focus of the HOT 70. The smartphone carries an IP65 rating for dust and splash resistance, SGS-certified drop resistance, and military-grade durability claims. It is also equipped with software features such as Speaker Cleaner, which uses sound vibrations to remove dust and moisture, and XGuard privacy tools, including app locking, security protection, and ad controls.
For connectivity, Pure Voice noise reduction is designed to improve call clarity in noisy environments, while UltraLink enables Bluetooth-based communication over distances of up to 1.5km when cellular coverage is unavailable. The phone ships with XOS 16 and, on supported configurations, will receive up to three Android OS upgrades and five years of security updates.
