Just like any other smartphone, the TCL Plex sports a rear triple camera setup with a main 48 MP, a 16 MP super-wide angle, and a 2 MP regular camera sensors. It gives the users freedom to shoot even in low-light and landscapes thanks to its Super Night and Ultra-Wide modes. On its upper left corner lies the 24 MP front camera.
The TCL Plex also flourishes in the video department. It can record remastered videos to HDR and slow-motion videos up to 960 fps. It runs on TCL UI, the brand’s dedicated user interface, which is based on Android 9. It can turn into a remote controller through T-Cast (a universal remote control and smart TV assistant app), cast videos, music, games, and photos; and connect up to four audio devices on the phone for surround-sound audio.
