It seems like Sony wants some of that wearable, rugged, hi-definition dollars that Contour and GoPro has been raking in lately, and has teased their own answer via their official blog. The company says that the new camera will be tiny and lightweight, and have their SteadyShot image stabilization technology, Exmor R CMOS image sensor, and an ultra-wide angle Carl Zeiss Tessar lens. Sony promises that the new camera will also have ruggedized and waterproof housings to accompany it, so you won’t have to worry about it breaking or getting wet.
