    Asus officially launched their newest Zenbook lineup in the country as part of the brands celebrations for their 30th anniversary.

    Highlighted in the launch is the Taiwanese giant’s latest flagship Zenbook targeted for content creators, the Zenbook Duo, and Zenbook Pro Duo. Also part of the launch is the brand’s first laptops under the ProArt series, the Studiobook Pro 17, Studiobook 17, and the Studiobook X. The Studiobooks are laptops specially created to cater to artists and other graphic intensive users such as animators, architects, and graphic designers.

    “We have observed that content creators nowadays need the ultimate multitasking, they frequently live their lives in multiple screens and demand the flexibility in working in a wide range of devices. However, they are also the ones who really have multiple cables rolling through their work desks and this multitasking experience is not restricted to just one aspect of their lives,” said George Su, country manager, Asus Philippines.

These things are not just important to those content creators is also the thing that Asus sees as an opportunity, and this opportunity lead us to think, what is the next step in Asus in the consumer computer market? And to that we look to the future,” Su adds

    Zenbook Pro Duo / Zenbook Duo

    The Zenbook Pro Duo is made for multitasking with its ScreenPad Plus

    Revealed to the world at Computex last May, the Zenbook Pro Duo and Zenbook Duoare laptops built with one thing in mind: multitasking. The 15.6-inch Zenbook Pro Duo has a 9th gen Intel Core i7 or Core i9 with a NVIDIA RTX 2060 graphics card. What makes the laptop perfect for multitasking is the addition of Asus’ ScreenPad Plus secondary screen on top of the keyboard. The secondary 14-inch touch screen has a myriad of functions that aid users for multitasking such as extending the screen and displaying additional windows and applications. It will have 32 GB of RAM and 1TB of PCIe 3×4 SSDs.

    The Zenbook Duo is the more mainstream version of the Zenbook Pro Duo. It’s smaller, sporting a 14-inch FHD+ screen and a smaller 12.6-inch ScreenPad Plus. The Zenbook Duo, however will tout a 10th gen Intel Core i5 or Core i7 processor mated to NVIDIA MX250 graphics. The Zenbook Duo will have 16 GB of RAM and 1TB or 512 GB of internal Storage.

    The Zenbook Pro Duo will cost PHP 199,995 for the Core i9 variant, and PHP 169,995 for the Core i7 variant. Meanwhile the Zenbook Duo will retail for PHP 84,995 for the Core i7 model and PHP 74,995 for the Core i5 model. The Zenbook Pro Duo is now available in retailer while the Zenbook Duo will come in October.

    ProArt Studiobook

    The Studiobook series of laptops is aimed towards artists and professional graphics designers. All Studiobooks will offer professional grade and studio grade software and powerful hardware.

    Studiobook Pro X

    The Studiobook Pro X is an all powerful laptop made for artists.

    The flagship Studiobook Pro X will suit every creators need with 17-inch Pantone-validated display validated with 97 percent DCI-P3 color gamut. Powering the Studiobook Pro X is a 9th gen Intel Xeon processor matched by an NVIDIA QUADRO RTX 5000. It also has a ScreenPad 2.0. It has four PCIe 3 memory slot but comes equipped with 1TB and 32GB of RAM.

    Studiobook 17/ Pro 17

    The Studiobook 17 and Studiobook Pro 17 are directed towards creative individuals who need a laptop that can keep up with their graphic needs. The Studiobook Pro 17 is one of the world’s thinnest laptops with NVIDIA’s QUADRO RTX graphics and an Intel XEON processor, while the Studiobook 17 has an RTX 2060 mated to a 9th gen Intel Core i7. What makes the Studiobook different with other laptops is that Asus has fitted them with studio-grade software.

    The Studiobook Pro 17 will retail at PHP 174,995 while the  Studiobook 17 comes in at PHP 134,995. The Studiobook Pro X on the other hand will start at PHP 299,995 and will be available starting November.

    Zenbook Edition 30

    Also announced in the event is the arrival of the limited edition Zenbook Edition 30 in the country. The limited edition laptop was created to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the computing giant. It is a Zenbook 13 with a pearl white genuine leather cover. The special 30th anniversary logo is electroplated with nanoparticles of 18-karat rose gold. Each purchase of the Edition 30 will also give buyers special edition accessories.

    The Zenbook Edition 30 will retail for PHP 99,995 but only 30 units will be made available in the country.

    New Zenbooks

    Apart from the special Zenbooks and Studiobook, Asus also introduced the newest generation of their Zenbook lineup. These new Zenbooks will have either an 8th generation Intel Core processor or a 10th generation Intel Core. The new Zenbooks will also come equipped with ScreenPad 2.0, the second generation of Asus secondary display place on the touchpad. The new Zenbooks will start at PHP 59,995.
