TechnologyTechnology NewsCheck out Microsoft's newest beatboxing, breakdancing ad for the Surface Pro

Microsoft’s finally taken to selling their Windows Surface Pro across the US a few days ago and as expected, they’ve put the full weight of their advertising prowess behind the new product. Their latest commercial, which aired during the Grammy Awards today, showcased their newest device with awesome beatboxing and breakdancing. The new commercial highlighted the versatile nature of the new device, which is being marketed differently than their previously released Surface device, the Surface RT.

The Surface Pro is powered by a 3rd generation Intel Core i5 processor and has 4GB of RAM. Because the device has a traditional x86 processor rather than an ARM core, the Surface Pro is capable of running current and legacy Windows software, which certainly makes it an ideal choice for people who want to use their existing library of software with the device. The commercial also highlighted the Surface Pro’s ability to rock Microsoft’s detachable keyboard covers and its built-in stylus. The Surface Pro has already gone on sale in the US in the past week and stores are reporting that there’s a definite shortage of the device as of the moment. While that may seem like an indicator of large demand, some analysts say that this may just be because of the limited number of devices currently in the market. The Surface Pro starts at $899 (around Php 36562 without taxes) in the US.
