    Just in time for the International Day of the Girl on October 11th, the Asian Development Bank and Plan International, in partnership with Intel, will screen “Girl Rising: Educate Girls, Change the World”—a documentary that is meant to drive awareness for girls’ education.

    Created by the organization called 10×10, “Girl Rising” consists of 9 stories about 9 young girls from 9 different countries. The film talks about how each of the girls managed to rise above their situation thanks to education. “Girl Rising” features voice performances by Anne Hathaway, Cate Blanchett, Selena Gomez, Liam Neeson, Priyanka Chopra, Chloe Moretz, Salma Hayek, Alicia Keys, Frieda Pinto, Kerry Washington and Meryl Streep.
